Are you sure you're thinking of the same Terminal Conflict? Because it is one of the more sophisticated and detailed maps in the mAAp pack. It's probably my favorite if it was more centered around the lobby. It's far from shit. It also has ammunation, and who can argue against that? :P

Party Pooper Killaman is back. It's just a copying of files. I'm not even sure it will make it into Assist. There's issues with Distance Fog cutting in and out as well as the fact that Linux and Mac users can't use this. On the positive side, VendorX e-mailed the original dev since he's still active. Maybe he'll make a custom DirectX and OpenGL version that is less buggy :)
Party pooper? That was a legitimate question. Most games you can turn bloom off. I wasn't sure how it was going to be implemented in AA. I do think it looks bad though. It lightens everything up and blurs a bit for no reason at all.

Square?  :o  That's one of the best maps in the mAAp pack. Get rid of a bad map like Teh Yeti's Lair before you get rid of a good one.

Why not just get rid of them all except the ones that are being played heavily. Then with the maps we took out go map by map and make them the best they can be and dropping them back in over time?
Why not just leave them in a slowly release updates? That way they can still be played.

Can I request that you allow a option to open all weapon slots. 

This is available on later version and sometimes its a pain when you have around 4 players and you want some fun and can't choose the same weapons like a S.
The reason they did that is to make the game more balanced. No one wants to play on a team full of sniper and they're the only person going for the objective.

What exactly do we gain by taking out maps though? A few less MB to download? Is that even worth it? I'd rather have the 3 maps there. It's not like they're bad quality, they are all great quality. Variety is good.

I think terminal conflict is awesome, the tunnel is just too long for the one team. If you could make it to where the main battle goes on in the lobby it would be good.

There's no way to make the text look bigger and the hud smaller like 2.8.5 because it's 2.5, not 2.8.5.

Oblivion? That game featured an heavy use of bloom. Nowadays bloom is an old tecnique i guess.
Never played Oblivion, but games like Crysis 2 have huge problems with it. Like Blue stated, it's mostly lazy devs trying to cover up shoddy texture and lighting work by over blooming the game. It's used a lot in console games due to the console's limited capabilities.

I don't really like it. I'm not a big fan of using bloom effects in general. Most games with them I turn them off. It makes everything seems too bright and unrealistic sometimes.

To be honest, I think PBall is pretty lame. Even though I converted it, I would rather not see it get more popular if Karma becomes popular. It's a map that doesn't fit in with AA at all, I really only converted it because it was a small map that seemed easy to do.
To be perfectly honest, a lot of maaps don't fit AA. Aimfun, aimbush, pball, glass kill house yeti's lair, shipment, and basically all the maap maps that ever get played. The more AA like maps (Pipeline, Terminal Conflict, Square, Urban SE, Breakout etc.) I don't see being played as much. I think people like the less AAish maps because they're a break from the usual AA. I'd love for more peopel to play the more AA liek maaps because some of them are just plain awesome.

As for the topic, Aztec and Ice would be cool.
