I actually think people shouldn't kick for this.

I'm sorry I have to disagree, when swapping player(s) from side to another is reasonable - for example getting same clan / ts to play on same sides - you need to pick player(s) from the other side in a way that somehow makes sense and is fair for all. I prefer picking clan players to swap and merge them to one side while swapping other clan to other side, or if it's not possible then I always pick the one who has joined last the game. Then if the one who is being swapped (to get him play with his clan mates or if he's the one who joined last) remains, the other player wont get swapped either just because one decided to press remain. If remaining shit continues after warning and explaining the swap, I think server admin is totally allowed to kick the player who is causing too much work for the admin who tries to merge same ts to same side and make the game fair for all with minimum expences. Picking random guy from team to be swapped makes no sense, there is no way to explain the reason for the swap and it will be taken personally. Therefore I like to think the way I use is fair and if you don't like it you don't have to play at that certain server then. Explaining to other guy that he is being swapped because one pressed remain and someone needs to be swapped is ridiculous, therefore accept the swap or gtfo (when the swap really makes sense)

However, here the swap wasn't about merging same ts to same side, according to Phunkii he got swapped because Admins in Assault side wanted to make it easy for them. To me it sounds just like an excuse from one who didn't like to be swapped. There are many one sided maps and you always see the same players sitting at the easy side, when you swap them to other side they leave or start complaining about it. Dont know what the real reason for the swap was but I really doubt they made the swap because they thought the swap would make it so easy for them, maybe the swap was to balance the game in general, swap the one who was getting easy kills from the easy side to make the game more equal and interesting for everyone. If you are playing alone ( not in ts with anyone ) how can you get so butthurt from one side swap.

Like Phunkii said, "who cares if it's 1sided", it's easy to not care as long as you are on the easier side.

Respect admin decisions and play, it's only a game. Everything is not always about you only, you need to look at the big picture where decisions are made to make it fair for everyone with low costs.

That's just an ridiculous excuse for remaining.. I know people love to play in defence over there because it's so easy, but you're the first one who I remember bragging with the stats made at the easy side. Note that I don't play the map, so I may easily have missed the others who have bragged with their defence skills

This game would really need forced sideswaps after x amount of rounds

Some does but most of them are black / pink. Could it be os / graphic card related thing, where there's insufficient permissions to capture the screen?

Yea reinstall from new installer is worth of trying since it's fast process. Take backup copies of your armyops.ini and user.ini before deleting the game. Also make sure when you download the new installer .zip package, extract all files to your computer, don't execute the .exe-file from the folder view where all the files of .zip archive are displayed, it only extracts the exe and the other needed files cannot be used during installation process / with installed application

If you press F9 in game the screenshots go to the "screenshots" folder in your AA installation, by default it is where Ronski posted it to be.
For example:

This is by far the simplest way to get screenshots from the game. However, like Spanky mentioned, it can freeze your computer for a second for saving, which is not always ideal.

Good to know, if server is set to take screenshots of players, will those shots go there at server under system/pb/ - might be actually a folder named as "svss". Anyway those pb shots are most likely either black or pink so they are useless nowadays. But with the logic above thought these shots would go to under pb as well

Mine F9 doesn't work for screenshots. Maybe there is some way to fix it?

I'm at bed but I try my best: open Assist, choose settings tab, start editing user.ini, scroll down and find F9. If there reads F9=shot then it should work. If you dont have button settings there at that .ini file then they were at the other one but I would start with user.ini

So if it's set, then F9 should work like "shot" command. Does your other keys from F-row work, for example F1 or F5? If not then your F-row is disabled from use.

If you press F9, or write to console "shot" (without the "" things) and you are not seeing your ss at clipboard, then it most likely saved the screenshot to Assist folders as a image file

And Assist folders you will find from here, my guess is that they are in some folder under system/pb/

WINDOWS XP: C:\Documents and settings\USERNAME\Application Data\25Assist\
WINDOWS VISTA/7/8/10: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\25Assist\

I havent used "shot" myself so Im not sure if it's the same as printscreen in Windows. If that F9 works like I thought it worked, it would save your shots to one folder ( which would be the answer to one of your questions ) but if not, then it just copies the ss to your clipboard and it disappears unless you paste it, and this wouldnt help you out in this case
