I totally get what you're saying, Spanky.

However, nowadays it's all about the money. And you get more money if your customer has to buy a new car in 5 years rather than 25 years. I am certain manufacturers know exactly where their cars' shortcomings are and they intend to keep them so people would buy a new car soon rather than spending their whole life driving one car. It's all about the "business". There's tons of people who learn this shit at university. In order for a business idea to be good, it has to be long lasting. If you create a car people can use their whole life, you can only sell one per person, but having them buy a new one every couple of year dramatically increases the longevity of the business model.

This is not just about cars, though. It's the same in any industry nowadays. For example, hundreds of years ago they made glass that was as strong as stone. However, it takes longer to manufacture and then people wouldn't need a new one soon enough, which is why nowadays most glass that's made will break from a feather dropping on it (not literally, of course).

Your best bet clan wise would be to play and see who you like.

The activity in this game is unfortunately so low that within a couple of weeks you'll know pretty much all the clans and it will probably be clear to you what kind of clan you're looking for.
In the mean time you can join various clan's TS (as well as our official one at ts.aao25.com ) and talk to the people. See who's dick you'd like to suck (you said you do that ) and who you don't like.

I wouldn't hope for too many scrim actions, though. There's not many clans interested in it most of the time. You might get lucky at some times, though

I'm not really an expert on this.

However, there are sometimes problems joining your own server (NAT loopback or something like that). Did you try having someone else join the server?

Easiest way is to head on to the download section on this page and download the Assist Server Manager.

Then just press "Start new server" before doing anything else and after that most things should be self-explanatory.
