But yes, if you replace the server.exe on the server with the one in the zipfile, the server will be updated to latest version.
If you replace the aa25.ini, all the serverconfig will be gone, and is not really needed to update the server to latest version.

25Assist must be allowed to update it's own files, Make sure your hosting company you have your server at knows that, I can see that IronLungs Servers seem to have the same problem.

If you use the AssistServerManager, download the newest version from the download section of this site, then all you have to do is to check a checkbox next to the SFMod text.
If you manage a server by editing aa25.ini, add/edit this value, and make sure it is like this:
sfmod=1

It will only do that if the server is started in Tournament mode, if an admin switches to F12 and uses a custom color, there is not much I can do

There was a small error that prevented client update for Linux and Mac users.
If your client updated in the last 30 minutes and are having problem with the client not starting as it should, download a fresh copy of the client from the Download Section, at the top of this page.

These are the New stuff/Fixed issues list for the v8.18 release.

- Improved download backupserver system that should fix most if not all install issues. A user can also specify what mirror to use.
- Added an icon that links to ts.aao25.com on the Sitrep Tab for easy access to aao25.com's TS
- Forcing this setting: ReduceMouseLag=False, to avoid certain crashes
- Added simple hashing of the password when it's saved in settings.dat
- Replaced some of the built in icons with custom ones
- Added a ton of new error handling code, so hopefully if you get an error, it will not only say outofbounds or Nil error, it should actually tell what function the error occurred, so that is the information we need when you report an error, what you were doing, and what function was reported to crash.
Server:
- A new SF mod that will provide full points/kills/deaths to Battletracker.com

My best tip would be to move the content from Program files to the desktop, where there is no issues with permission... Still use run as admin the first time to allow PB to install fully.

I think I've found the issue with the map names missing in the server list.
Basically it's caused by disturbances on SourceForge.org Servers.
The issue should be fixed in the next version of 25Assist(8.18).
I'm still working on the new version, so right now I cant give you all a date on the release.
