I think the major problems of random spawns:

For pub play:
- It might give a balance issue sometimes
- You cater the people who used to play this game and come back for this experience, not for a  new experience.

Good things for pub play:
- Variation

For competitive play bad things:
- Balance issues are severe, every second delay or advantage you can get, we can turn into a severe (dis)advantage by locking the opposing team down totally.
- Current maps have done really well on balancing, and if they are defense sided, they can only turn more defense sided, or otherwise you'll just push defense back even further making it a very static game.
- Also competitive players like the game as it is now. It is way more difficult compared to CoD or BF, which we really like, but there should be a balance at both sides, since we play both sides.

Good things:
- I don't really see the need to do it, sure variation could be a good thing, but I think the fact that a small balance issue totally changes the way matches will go, I think the risk is not worth it.

4 smokes is crazy. I get like 5 FPS on this map.

Imagine if 24 players have 4 smokes? 96 smokes on the screen and I'll end up with 0.01 FPS
I stand corrected, the FPS part of 4 smokes per player didn't cross my mind. 1 smoke each then, no nades nor flashes still tho. Imo.

Prone bug was not a big deal in the past. It happened occasionally and it was very simple to recognize people who are doing it often and on purpose.
A good solution would be to give a shake warning when the player actually headshot another. I believe the warning is given too quickly here and it leads to bad gameplay
Indeed. And ganja, if it happens in scrims I would rage, sure. I rage if a door lags upon opening, you know this. And type "don't proneshoot please" In a match, i'd have demorec of it, and if seen fit; dispute.

You must understand that at this stage it is important to agree with community/majority and move on. You're being disrespectful to everyone else who has voted for yes as in your opinion they are stupid and don't know how much it will change the game.
And you need to understand I disagree with you, and I don't pet niceley like you seem to do constantly.

Do you play any other FPS online game besides AA? If so, you'd know that there's implemented voice comms for public playing in every other big  FPS game out there, so this "IT'S HARD FOR A NEWBIE TO COME TO AA BECAUSE OF GHOSTING" is just utter bullshit. Sure, ganja is a good player, the one thing i don't disagree with. What we don't want, is easy kills. Jesus  man, who are you. We want challanges, hence we play competitive, we thrive in facing hard opponents with good aim, good sound and good comms. Im defenetly sticking to my opinion, one i know is the correct one. Facts will not change, randomize spawns and kill the competitive side, hence we leave. You are left with a hole where we were. And we all know how good the campaign of getting fresh blood into AA is going.,

In a scrim, when the enemy kills you while pronebugging, what happens?
You tell them they are bad for using it, and they agree, or call it accident. Move on to next round. Scrim don't matter shit anyway.

I really dont understand why all this discussion? Why do you want so badly to remove the prone warning? Even you said that prone shooting gives you an advantage because of "laggy hitboxes".
All the players know not to prone shoot because if so, your screen will shake alot! Why is that bad? It just harms the person who was trying to proneshoot, even if that happened by accident. Next time that one player will know how to avoid the screen to shake.

Because i've gotten killed by rushing enemies in scrims after accidently proneshooting, or swapping from gun to nade/flash/smoke whilst pressing run at the same time in the heat of the moment. Since it shows in chat, it gives an advantage to the opposite team knowing when to push someone, that advantage is greater than the proneshooting itself. It interfeirs with gameplay and punishes people who accidently does it.
And @ ganja, with proof i mean during matches. Which are usually demorec'd. And in pubs, people will be aware if someone proneshoots. Votekick begins, player leaves server. If you would want to supply admins on a pub server with proof, demorec it.

Yeah i figured you were gonna come brag about your AA chips, how far did you go in the program? The first day mark chip you get for attending the first AA meeting don't count. Don't lie.

Since we both share the same views on this matter, which you still havent contributed to, ofcourse we "protect" eachother. We've known eachother for 5 years, go think of something good to write instead mate. Be the mature here, show us all how someone can change from being a little special man to something humble and respectful. This will be my last response to you, add me on facebook of pm me for further discussion about how sad we competitive players are, it's getting kinda dull. Sincerely. The pro player with friends.
