in the beginning, after auth was down, i had a server up and running on 2.8.5 - but no honor couning then...

but you are in a local network - so it looks like.
you do not connect the auth server at all. I will search for the solution tomorrow.

thank you very much for doing a great job. nice!
please do not forget:
- there a so many other games out there, almost the same like aa2
- so therefore aa2xx should be someting special - even more then it is already
- with that mindset it should be playable also on other operating systems, not only windows (i am a windows freak, but..)
- and it should be, as much as possible, free of cheater
- also do not forget to keep the possibility to create home servers like it is now. a real great goal of this version now.
this all would be perfect. so if i may say, please try first at all to stop the cheaters. because cheaters are killing every game. if you could do so, this game would "explode" by players.

go to this folder
C:\Users\youraccount\AppData\Roaming\SWISSPowerServerI\25Assist\armyops\System\pb

and create a file named
ServerMessage.cfg

edit like you wish. the first 20 means it starts after 20 sec, 411 means the repeating interval. say what you want...
try it out. the special characters are for the color you wish. search for UT2k4MessageColourizer.exe or scriptcolourizer.ace to get the needed color charaters you wish.

btw: you all should start to play german's e-league. there you HAVE TO play on non modded servers. so stop this fukking talking about and go there - we need more players to kill at that tournament.

[SWISS] has about 20 very active players and we always play on not modded servers (only open slots, but this was regular with 2.8.5 - also not a mod), every evening.
