I don't understand - why?My understanding is this, if there was no password used anyone could join your server by console in AA and therefore bypass the entire auth system. To stop this from happening, they have a password that Assist uses to allow people to join assist servers through assist only.

nope, effective when thrown properly, unlike in 2.5 when they are effective no matter where or when they are thrown :-[ the difference is in 2.8.5 you have to earn your kill and throw "smart" flashes that will give you advantages, in 2.5 you just have to throw your flash and slowly walk to execute a guy that cant see anything for 20 seconds :'(no, flashes in 2.8 were broken and way too weak. You had to literally land it withing 5 feet of the person for it to be effective, which is not realistic at all. Also, you seem to be overestimating how good flashes are in 2.5.
i would too like flashes to be more like they are in 2.8.5.So useless?
It may look like that to you, but I am trying to prove something. Let's see for real how M16 compares to AK47.The only way you could possibly know is for 2 people of the exact same skill to play each other. And seeing as nobody has the exact same skill as someone else, a 1 vs 1 is useless.

P.S. Why are so many people scared that US will get ran over by OPFOR? I will challenge anyone in here for a duel with M16 against AK47, close quarters or any map they want.
I was working in a OPFOR Server Mod days ago, the only thing that failed was the modded ak74-su other guns replacement ar ok, i have it compiled and working, but theres only players 2 skins, more can be added later.How does that work? Does it make it to where 1 team is U.S. with U.S. weapons and skins and the other is Opfor with Opfor weapons in skins? That's what this thread is about.

So this can't be changed? Looking from that "editor", couldn't you just swap some variables?No, there is only 1 option for enemy skins, that mean that regardless of what team you're on, you will see that skin on the enemy. If they had it for each team it would be doable.
