I think you missunderstood my point spanky.

I ment I did not know where this 2.6 folder on my external did come from, not this program, file or whatever.

Fact is: I did NOT use it, I only copied this whole 2.6 folder into aa25 assist to avoid downloading whole AA client because of my mobile connection, it has traffic limit.

Anyway to bring this to an end: If I read this link from pit correctly this is a server mod and no cheat right?

I also dont know if this works or not because I never tried that, never will...

And if I furthermore read correctly it brings no advantages for me towards other players in multiplayer gameplay, in case I had tried that. (what I did not).

Another Point is: If it works on 2.5 or not is totally regardless because AA2.5Assist identifies it so nobody could use that in this version. Am I right or wrong? I understand that your fed up with those cheating faggots destroying this game and you can believe me we think the same.

As I said earlier before I started playing in 2003 and I was clean ALL the time and iam clean right now too.

This folder was on my external harddisk for several years and I didnt touch it so using this copy of aa2.6 was absolutely my mistake.

Hey guys, today registered here for one special reason.

I came back from my birthday party and was looking forward playing aao a bit.

So I opened AA2.5 assist and tried to login, but hey I cant play. It tells me "YOU are BANNED because of AssistQR.exe"

So here comes my question: What the hell is AssistQR.exe and why iam banned?

Last week I had this "alien message" on my screen while starting aao2.5 assist, thats why I fully downloaded aa2.5 again and deleted all aa2.5 assist folders and files before. After this aa worked like a charm but now iam banned?

Ah one thing to add: I first tried to use an old 2.6 aao folder from my external hard disk to avoid downloading the whole client via aa2.5 assist. I only got mobile connection in the base so 900 MB is pretty much. Could that be the reason cuz I found an assistQR.exe in that folder. Checked it a minute ago but as I said after this I redownloaded the whole game...
