I'm running a 8600GT now and played BFBC2 on medium settings at that resolution and it was playable.It depends on what Radeon 4800 card he has. Anything above the 4830 would easily be able to play BC2, the 4850 is close to the 8800GTS 512. But he's saying he can't click on stuff in the menu so that leads me to believe it's not an FPS problem, but a resolution problem.

Technically, you could play games that low but anything other than native means pixels are being stretched/distorted/lost. Do the math, if your monitor is 1920x1080 and you're playing at 1024x768 then every pixel width wise is scaled to 1.875 it's original size. You can't fill just .875 of a pixelYeah but he's saying he can't use the menu because the resolution is too high, leading me to believe that that was actually his native resolution.Now, if you played at 960x540 that might be ok, because it's scaled perfectly half the size. It's sad that a lot of people don't care. They're usually the same ones with onboard sound

Jared and/or Spanky knows fo sho.He's talking about the text in AA. I don't know if it's possible or not, but it is next to impossible to read the blue messages on a 1080p monitor without having to look really close to the screen.

« on: Thursday, April 05, 2012, 16:30:51 PM »There is a glitch that if you're shooting when mission planning ends you get faster fire and no recoil in the next round only. It could simply be that they are the ones who choose to use the glitch. I asked Jonny about it and he told me anyone who used it would get kicked by hackhunter for no recoil hack so I have no idea why it's happening or even if that's what's going on.
Tha begs a question then, are pokes being checked in that mode? We have played a team twice now, each time we play them their fire rate goes off the chain, plus no recoil. Now I have heard of a fast fire rate bug, but this has only happened to them and specific players and no other teams we have played or members have had this happen

GOW and headhunters? That's all I can think of. There aren't many U.S. clans on 2.5 anymore. And maybe teams don't want to join a ladder, ever think of that?
