I used IRC back in the day. But that was 10 years ago.
I don't know about the advancements in IRC, maybe it's nowadays more browser-based, but back in the day one would have to download another program for it, which we don't want.
I suppose it might be possible to implement it to Assist as well, but I don't really see how that would solve the problem.

Assist actually looks at every person on it's own, not the server so much.
Probably (can't be 100% sure of course) all old and commercially available cheats are detected automatically. Others leave other kind of violations that help us steer to the right direction and find the cheats.

AA2Reborn is a revival project made by me of a client, like Assist, that lets you play America's Army 2.8.5. It was released 1 month ago and in addition to Assist it features a new and modern auth system and anticheat, co-op mode, 800+ maps and mod support (high jump, shotguns) We're playing almost everyday from 8PM CET.
