Closed = Bigger and better DoP (Depth of Field) < Light
Open = Less DoP > Light

The Aperture scale is a constituted by the multiples of two scales.

A. 2.4/2.6/2.8
B. 3.5/3.7
A. 4
B. 6.4/7.2
A. 8
B. 12
A. 16
AB. 22
B. 24

P.S:. There are slight changes from camera to camera, as there are from type-1 lens to type-2 lens (where type-1 and type-2 indicate or apply to any different type of lenses, regardless of what their type is.), which is why some of the stops of the scale can vary (i.e:. 2.4/2.6). Some cameras/lenses will have 2.4, some other will have 2.6, and so on. Scale A is multiples of 2, whereas scale B is multiples of 3. There non-rounded numbers, such as 2.4 or 6.4 exists because of the imperfection between the several apertures --not because the apertures were/are done imperfectly, but because in such a small measurement, it is hard to concise so much light-information that stays true and relevant to reality, through such a small aperture. It's a bit more complex than this, and I haven't got much time to explain the rest.

P.S.S:. Just realised this has already been answered to. Oh well.

Spanky: www.mikawe.co.uk  <---- Take that.

I do want a website...I just haven't had the time to go about it yet. I might request your help at one point or another, Jared & Spanky.

Heck, I might even start working on it straight away with someone willing to help this friend out for free. Well, maybe not for free --I could, maybe, offer a print of any one of my works in a T-Shirt, Cup or any other at your desires that isn't too bloody expensive!

No clue of what you are talking about?

It's just emotions I put down through words, really.

Wrote more stuff ever since:

"AND I'LL KILL, AND I'LL EAT, AND I BE SAVIOUR TO MY SALVAGE FEAST. OH I AM, AND I SHALL! THEY CALL ME DUMB, AND DUMB I AM. BUT NO DUMBER IT IS, TO LIVE DUMB AND EAT THEM. EAT THEM TILL THEY'RE GONERS. EAT AND KILL, PREVAIL AND BE. FUCK THE MODERNISM AND THEIR IRREVERENT IRRELEVANT INTERESTS. BE OLD, BE THERE. ENGARDE, VANGARDE, THINK AND BARK."

"Yes, we lie. Yes, we are the sinful lot of the world. Yes, we are the deary destroyers. Yes, we are the most indecent creatures of our era. Yes, we are bargain, raw and unforgeable. Yes, we are the most despicable and most tyrannous. Yes, we, the villains above the villainousness of those other villains. Yes, we trust we can ---And still, we say Yes."

"I am silenced yet it takes me nowhere. I've grown out of habits, of which sanity is rare. I'm protesting with emotional strength, and still the queen's son follows as England's heir. I am shuffled into sensations, those of despair. I am speaking, yet it takes me to nowhere. Noise is never not, as it lives in the air. Peopled fucked, brought and raised me as theirs and yet we all remain nowhere."

Possibly one of my favourite so far ^

Nate, YES YES YES. I'll actually need to have a word with you about it, as it is part of our course to have WordPress to load our own coded databases. Are you on MSN?

I have not been an active member on this community (and from the likes of it, I won't be getting any more active in the near future, for both logistical and personal reasons.), but I thought it would be nice to drop a little update here, for those who do care. University has been eating most of my time and thinking, therefore any outside work to Uni's is, for now, scarce.

Got a new text and a currently-on-the-works paint.

Painting:
"Let The World Be"

Text:
Manifesto #1

"You are born, and already, you belong to.
Not to yourself, not to your siblings,
You belong to a purpose, your purpose,
Fuck that purpose. You are to generate.

To generate restlessly, to generate solely,
Not others like yourself, not more of that,
Money; you need it therefore you accept.
That you are. That you have. That you can.

Amid hopes, whilst others are broke
You think being one of a kind, all alone
Lies. Fuck. Shit. Tell me more lies
Not to generate, I'll step out of the line

And no more you are. It all blacks out, dark.
Clean. Wipe. Tear. Break. Go on, rape!
I want to see you die. Intangible groin fucker
Sniff cocaine fuck and fuck more, until you lay

No twilight. No rain or wind. None of that weights.
Not even a dime, not to yourself, not within the line.
And yet there is a purpose. To generate, to denigrate.
All blind, all in dire. Yes, you are to generate so that you can die.

But no one sees. Not even cares. You are just you.
One in a million trees, not yet ready to die.
Give out paper. Be our consuming whores.
So that you can go then, and lay --afar from I.

You shout. Your impertinent self, so full of shit.
And you are you. But what the fuck to?
So that you can generate. So that you do.
You must because you do. Loneliness scares

Yet never free. It is there, it is here, on this sinking slice
That belongs to generate. Money. Money. Money.
Hypocrisy in fairness, but still, you believe to be.
Fuck him. Fuck me. But let us walk free."

There. Updated.

Nope. I wasn't drunk. I'm not playing tough, I simply wasn't drunk. Overslept because of...

04:30~06:14 AM -- Got back home, this time with food. Opened Photoshop and started practising a few painting techniques. Went to bed at 06:14 AM. Set the alarm to 08:30 AM.

Friday:

01:00~01:30 AM -- Arrived at my mates's from a 14 mile ride on my bike, from Westminster.
02:00 AM -- Was having a Morgans Spiced w/ coke and smoking a fairly smooth joint, whilst socialising.
02:45 AM -- One of my mate's friend brings a Djambé along. Guitar, harmonica and several other improvised instruments were already existent in the flat. The Jam commenced. Started off with a fine blues and as time went by, people got more drunk (me exclusive, as I'm fairly resistant to alcohol), it progressed into D&B, then falling to the realms of Primitive Music; more specifically, African Music. I did the singing for the majority of time, however also played the Harmonica and Djambé. At a certain point during the night, every one had gone into a trance-like behaviourism and the jam kept going on; empty bottles became snares, forks and knifes became sticks, yelling and shouting became back-vocals and in such excitement, the ambient was of the utmost pleasantness.
03:40 AM -- Lost my phone. Spent a good 10 minutes looking for it. Found it. Looked at my twin brother, and unanimously, decided it was the right time for us to get back home, as we still had to cycle approximately 10 miles...and it was raining.
04:10 AM-- Wet soaked and freshly mint, we had now arrived home. Realised I had no food left, at all. "Dinis, I'm just gonna go get us something to eat (90% of the times, this means buying two packs of cereals and a 3L milk pack!)" -- He kindly replied "The offlicense is already closed. There's nowhere to go!". We made a £10 bet. I knew the offlicense was still open, regardless of his consistent attempts at making me believe otherwise. Won £10. I was happy again.
04:30~06:14 AM -- Got back home, this time with food. Opened Photoshop and started practising a few painting techniques. Went to bed at 06:14 AM. Set the alarm to 08:30 AM.
08:30 AM -- "Trchiim Trchiim Trchiim" - "Fuck off!" -- Oversplept.
09:50 AM -- Woke up. "Oh shit!!!!!". Was supposed to be opening the bar at 10AM. Got up, got me pants in, socks, took the jacket, bike, keys and off I went. Was out of home at 10:02 AM. Beat my best timing record so far: 11 miles in 20 minutes. My legs hate me now.
10:22 AM -- Arrived at the bar, opened it, got a few bollocks from things that did not concerned me at all, in any possible way.
10:22 AM~10:30PM -- Worked, worked, worked, worked. Served drinks, got people drunk and also...in my spare times, as scarce as they were, did a life drawings and perspective studies.
11:00PM -- Was home. The night lasted until 03:00AM from Saturday. Was busy with Photoshop and writings.

Just for the record, I wasn't being sarcastic nor did I want anything of what I said to be taken offensively --Hence why I started off by saying "Do not take this personally nor offensively".
