General Chat / Re: WHATS UP WITH 2.5...IS IT UP OR NOT?.....
« on: Monday, October 07, 2013, 12:37:07 PM »I think that you should make the "Download Assist" button visible to registered users too (not only for guests) because the "info" tab is not associative to "download" and thus it makes it hard to find the download.
It's a one-stop-shop, the Info button. I can't fit any more across the top due to admins having extra buttons. There's no more room! The text you see as a member who aren't logged in makes the page much taller and would be annoying for those logged in, you would always have to scroll to see content. I'm open to more suggestions though.

« on: Sunday, October 06, 2013, 17:07:42 PM »It's shit because America was still recovering from economy and now it's going all down again, why the hell would you pay for Health insurance, the answer is I won't pay, they have done nothing for us and they are non government companies, this is a bullshit, I fell sorry for American people, and also those republicans can lick my old ass. Its because they didn't agree with one fucking law... NASA is gone as well for now, i mean i really like the work they put there... http://notice.usa.gov/100% agree.
Another fucking thing is that people who served America will have to work for free without a payment, wtf... all this shit goes to hell, i really hate this shit, things with syria and now these, wtf America...::/

If not mistaken, that is what the Dems wanted, but could not get past the republicans?
In my opinion, insurance companies should be removed the equation completely, but I guess that is my liberal Swedish upbringing shining though100% agree.

« on: Sunday, October 06, 2013, 14:58:57 PM »And did you not already play for the healthcare for the poor when they went to emergency rooms though your taxes?
I have no problem with that. I pay my taxes open and honestly. I see the good work they do for roads and infrastructure around my area. I just have a problem giving money to a non-government company who denies coverage to rake in extreme profits. Granted, they can no longer deny based on pre-existing conditions under Obamacare but you can't make me believe they'll be a charity from here on out. Paying into those companies just feeds the problem. I'd much rather see my expenses going straight to the people that help me. The doctors and others that actually do the work, those that actually have a passion for helping people.

Go for it ELiZ. I've raised shadow quality, doubled the amount of shrubs and fixed a few other issues.

I have no problems with it. What sucks though is that I voted for Obama and I've always been for some kind of healthcare reform because the whole industry is inefficient and expensive. One of the silly things about Obamacare is that they tout that it's to eliminate healthy people paying for poor sick people's expenses. But that's exactly what health insurance companies do. Everybody pays in and it's the healthy people that are paying the expenses. I hate the mandatory health coverage, it's just forcing me to pay out for something I don't want. It's money going to an already bloated company that causes more problems than it solves. Obama can kiss my ass, I won't be paying for health insurance.

You could actually use JDownloader to download YouTube videos into MP4 format. I have quite a few AA videos, not necessarily frag ones though. Feel free to use any of them.

With Fraps, did you try recording half-size? Lowering resolution will help the FPS loss too.

Actually, this is solvable now thanks to Smoke. Before, we couldn't edit border due to our editor not having the code to load the carryable objective. This meant that we could only edit the map if we removed that feature. But Smoke solved that so I'll take a look at Border and see if I can get this issue fixed.
*EDIT*
Yea, pretty sure I see the issue. On the StaticMesh, there's a setting under vision, bNormalVisionOnly and it was True on those rooftops. Normally it's False and by setting it to true means that it's only shown under non-NVG. Anyway, I set all objects to bNormalVisionOnly = False.
Is there anything else to change? I think I'll see about getting some better quality shadows

You are right in that people who own their servers can do what they wish. However, if there's repeated abuse (especially towards the Assist service) then we can step in. Possibly temporarily ban someone or even blacklist a server. If you can demonstrate (with proof) abuse then we can do something.

« on: Friday, October 04, 2013, 19:06:52 PM »Wrong assumption. I'm not sticking up for him as much as anyone else. Back in May i've banned Spanky for a week for a similar reason.

True story. It wasn't me though, I let someone else use my account and they got me banned. Koden's pretty level-headed and we're lucky to have him on here.
