Problem occured..

http://i42.servimg.com/u/f42/16/72/80/62/untitl18.jpg

Read my post above, the cutie is looking for his libs and didnt find them!  :) look for your AA25Assist folder and copy-paste the Libraries folder (it's actually called "25Assist Libs") to the same location where you have the AA25Beta assist (or paste the Beta close to the Libs folder so they won't feel alone anymore).

EDIT: no worries anymore, now they are back into the binaries zip.

Ohhhh, I really like the last one. It could use a little more foreground lighting though. For those kinda photographs, I like taking them with and without flash, to see what results better.

Yeah, to be honest those images are all taken up with a scanner from the printed copy of the photograph, the original pic is a little more clear (brighter shadows). On the other side the Xa has not a real way to control exposure except for adjusting ISO values and f stops. Let's say you have to trick the automatic light meter the way you need to achieve what you like.

Well, i noticed there was a photography section ^^'

It has been quite a long time since i've last updated it with fresh crunchy ones.

The ones on film are taken with an Olympus Xa (basically a 35mm fitted into a quite small pack), Superia xtra 400 (really handy).

Hi as far as I'm aware the honor system is close to BETA or is in BETA testing.

Indeed

something going on with the sourceforge download servers today...
You might have to go into your 25assist folder and delete maappack.7z and start the download again when things get back to normal.
You find the 25assist folder in Application data

Roger that. I was wondering where it was placed (should have looked there in fact).

P.s. yep i noticed about SourceForge - googled for other sourceforge files hosters and find the one in my signature.

P.s.2 ah, there's that Expection handling error pic in the first post. Useful? Hope so :)

I think i screwed it up. :/

Happened after trying to download several times, because at the end of each download an error message appears: "download failed! Check your connection and try a different download server".

P.s. Last but not least

mAAp Project / Re: mAAp Aim Maps

I took a look at the screens, there was a whole lot of material there. Prison Escort looks interesting, i read it was dropped cause of " Too big, low FPS, bad AA map".

There also is a screenshot of a Spankyville map :P :D

This is no regards to pipeline, but wasn't there an aim map with maap?

AimFun, a small map entirely in an interior room, slightly dark and really suited for close quarter combat.

It's one of the maps i choose for small teams.

Any objections?

Nope, except that there might be a flood of people asking for "their" honour because they don't know that it can be obtained by Battletracker/Draat databases ;D

I didn't modify the objective distance. Skrewy is just being... Skrewy.

That laptop took a lot of work. I'm thinking of removing it though. Kinda makes camping easy and the monitors in main entrance show more cameras but there's high risk there.

*EDIT*
Nevermind, the laptop and hummer are gone in the latest version.

Shooting at the cameras destroys them and therefore blinds the monitors - hey this was a nice touch of realism :D :D

The laptop is really nice indeed. Any chance of making it mobile? (ok ok im kidding xD)

jonny I have a question.

So as I know is that if you host a server through the 25Assist, you will have an auth server and so that means you will have a honor server right? But if I want to buy an server? I need to buy then a honor server or do I need to buy just a normal server to make the auth working ?

Aside of having to rent a VPS, you don't need to worry about anything else, as far as now.

I think that there should at least be a donation adress dedicated to the authentication server(s) cost, since there will probably be at the very least one, and the owner will have to pay the server itself plus electricity bill (or the server rent). I would also dare to say that Jonny and the others who will develop and maintain authentication might benefit of such donations.

I'm currently running a server for some time during the day (6-8 hours)... :-[ i know it's a very little contribution. I'm also trying to sugggest other people/players to play/run servers through the Assist.
