If I'm not misstaken, a client load the entire package if it needs to load a single object. I dont know if UnrealEngine keeps it all in memory after loading.

If it gets to bit we have to split them

I've moved all the objects that were in myLevel to either T-285 or M-285 for next update.
I'll start moving all 2.8.5 unique objects to those packages

Most of the map is a Direct convert , so most things are as the were on 2.8.5.
There is small chance that FTL didnt have bipod in 2.8.5 but have it here.

Anyways, the 7.20 update has gone live, so go test to your hearts delight.

Version 7.20 has been rolled out today to all Servers and Client.

In this update we have concentrated on expanding the [mAAp] section of 25Assist.

This is a long-awaited update that is finally done. This has been almost a year in the making and there are many changes and I will try to cover them all in this post.

First, I would like to thank Jonny for making Assist and allowing all of us to unite together and remember the fun times we all had playing America's Army. I also want to thank Pit for taking lead of this project when nobody else wanted to, keeping it alive. A thank you also goes to ELiZ for making this update possible, doing all the work behind the scenes to update Assist and make sure everything is working properly.


Servers should auto-update within the next several hours, clients will update upon startup.

Now for the dirty details on the update:

Map Changes:
mAAp Pipeline has the most significant upgrades with visual improvements, FPS increases and more features:


Ice, Aztec and Breakout also have significant graphical improvements. Most all other maps have minor tweaking of graphics or FPS improvements.

Tons of bugs were fixed with mAAp maps and official maps as well, a few of the notable ones are:
- Player going underneath ice sheet and black ice texture on Ice.
- Unusable spawn points on Berg.
- Fixed missing meshes on Dusk.
- Rendering issue in control room, added zone portals and tweaked objectives on Breakout.
- Bright lighting and enemy clothing on Rummage.
- Texture alignment, enemy clothing, default game type, added playerblocks and fixed comm location issues on Aztec.
- Door warping, sound and scoring issues on Square.
- Enemy clothing on Shipment.
- Removed windows allowing Defense to spam Assault on mAAp Pipeline.
- Rebuilt Ambush roof and added playerblocks in various areas to prevent glitches on SF Hospital.
- Added extra player slots to Shipment, Berg, Breakout, Ice, Square, Urban Assault, SF Hospital and Pipeline.
- Added objectives, moved Defense spawn points, fixed clothing, added missing light fixtures, fixed missing sounds, and added playerblocks to various areas to prevent problems on Interdiction.

I wasn't going to run the server until after the 7.20 update though.

I mirrored you setting, and it still allowed me to slect and add a mAAp.
What is the error?
is it:
Unable to comply, mAAp Pack not installed, Goto the SITREP screen and click 'INSTALL'
Or nothing happends when you press Add?

It's not as simple that the mAAp's are added

That's not really the aimpoint that was on this map on 2.8.5, that's the reflex sight.

The aimpoint looks like this:


Any idea what class that is on 2.5.0?
is it present?

You have the strangest errors.
if all else failes edit your
server\aa25srv.ini
thats the inifile that is used as a template

There is a section called

MapNum=0

Can you provide a SS of your options screen?

The difference from the 7.14 file is

One has arch2_buildings_mud_brick_broken_f3
One has arch2_misc_desertstone10 the other has this one arch2_misc_desertstone9


But was you both are saying is that the dropbox version is ok to be destributed with 7.20?
Just checking.

On the dropbox there is this file
M2-Architectural.usx

It's older than the 7.14 version but a little bigger?

Anyone know what has changed in the file?
