Where as of course I have negative. Most my posts are asking for improvement and pointing out issues, and assist is seemingly administered by a team that doenst like to hear anything negative, and has a team of internet trolls backing them up lol. Id also be willing to bet at very least half my negatives have been from you.

I also did have higher internetz but went through the whole "hurr durr let's troll the community" phase and then lent my account to someone else that did the same. It's not beside the point, it's a valid counter-argument. The possiblity also stands for Facebook to sell your information or for someone to break into your home or someone to hack into your computer. The possibility of privacy breach is ALWAYS there. That's life. Too many people complain about privacy. If you want to be private, go live in the woods and have no contact with people. Next people will complain that their neighbors know where they live... Jesus.

Assist has been around for over 5 years and thus we could have harvested info years ago and stolen identities. Guess what? That's not the goal of the project.




Perhaps it's time to feed a little fact to poor misinformed Dav3; screenshots aren't automatic. They're only taken if someone is suspicious, to gather further proof.

Even if we had screenshots with personal info (which I've not seen), they are not saved on a server or available for public viewing. You're making the leap to say we're untrustable and while many have said that we are, history proves that we have not done anything malicious.

If you want to further your conspiracy theory, you might want to suggest we log passwords and since most people use the same password, we get in and read people's emails and buy pillows with embroidered dicks on them.




Again, it's really really simple. I made the TOS to describe what Assist does because people raged about it doing things without their knowledge. The whole point of the TOS is for you to agree/disagree. Seems like you disagree but can't seem to uninstall Assist. Shall I ban you again to help you out?

WHERE are these SS being saved? what if it gets compromised / hacked. And so on and so fourth. You should not be collecting data you dont need, you should even look at it as a liability for the assist team once again.

They aren't stored anywhere. If Auth gets hacked, the hackers will have huge logs, that's about it.

Imagine this - ss taken of someones something, banking info, ANY personal info, personal images, HECK anything the possibilities are endless.

They get hacked. Enjoy.

Most important details are not shown to users, even if you own that information. What I mean is, if I give you my online banking details, what can you do? Transfer money from checking to savings? Ohhh, scary. I can't imagine anyone having a text document open with their usernames & passwords. Aside from that, how could we use any info that's on your screen?

Assist should only take SS while game is open and MAXIMIZED ideally. But at least limit it to when the game is running, or have assist automatically shut down once the game is closed.

Don't like it? Feel free to uninstall. I made the TOS after that whole shitstorm to tell people what we do and what isn't allowed. I think it's pretty fair.

If you don't want Assist taking screenshots of your desktop, close it. You're not stupid enough to leave notepad open with credit card numbers and such are you? I've never come across anyone that even keeps that information saved on their computer, let alone visible on the desktop. Even if you did, we're not going to do anything with it. As said in the TOS, none of the information is shared outside us, none of it is made public. If we wanted to steal your information/identity, harvest e-mail addresses and passwords for malicious uses, we would have done it years ago.

We should also be able to ban those that abuse the system. Simple.

Until you help out here stop all you're whining and complaining it's getting old and tiring
