I just had to repeat the process to the Admin Console again, I think this was from the update today. F12=blank
To get the Admin Console to Display (First get the Server Admin to Add your playername to the server)
You need to change your 25assist user.ini file. Search / Look for the line beginning F12=
Default is - F12=console or blank
change it to - F12=admin CommandPost
This User.ini file can be found by looking at the 25assist directory under your documents and settings directory not your original install. If you can't find it do a search and just change them all, make sure to save and overwrite the original file.
ANSWER MAC-OSX: /Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/25Assist/armyops/system
ANSWER LINUX: /home/USERNAME/25Assist/armyops/system
ANSWER WINDOWS XP: C:\Documents and settings\USERNAME\Application Data\25Assist\armyops\system

You forget this game was released in around 2005 from memory. The capabilities of computers back then can't even be compared to today's machines as far as performance. Most people were even playing on dial-up.
There is no real need to reduce file size, modify maps or the like for this reason. The only thing I would like to see is better packet flow control so I can play oversea's servers.

This is the only thing I changed. I even changed it back to prove it wouldn't work again.
If your ini is already correct then I assume you have a different issue.

« on: Sunday, January 15, 2012, 06:12:48 AM »I guess I should report I had this issue yesterday (before the release) where I joined as admin but admin cp didnt come up when I pressed f12 (nates server) or when ever he asked me if about maaps being in admin cp. I figured it was a once off middle finger at 'the man' but if cat75's been having the issue as well I guess thats different... note all admin commands worked, its just getting into admin cp via f12 didnt, maybe assist somehow edited the user.ini or what ever file holds what button is binded to admin cp.... I prob should have mentioned this way earlier in this thread but I didnt think anything of it at the time

It's based on point so if they have 83000 x 5 points past 100H they will be 105H already...

« on: Sunday, December 25, 2011, 02:54:47 AM »I got replies from at least 20 more player that are willing to play AA2 every nigth as we were doing on 2.8.5, they say that if the only way to play is 2.5 they will come down.
The only problem i see is that there are not hosting companies that are willing to host a server for this game.
Could always talk some round, or just rent servers and set it up manually.
I like what your doing not sure you will get AA2.5 in Australia. People are hoping v2.8.5 will get fixed.
I had a server in Brisbane which had the best of both worlds, over 100MB of BW U/D and a low ping to oversea's clients..
I could probably get this up and running again on AA2.5 if that's what you need.
Overseas players may come on to it. They did on 2.8.x. Most OS Server have way to higher ping for me as they tend to go for price rather than quality.

You open the console and type afc (afc stands for Admin Force Class). This will then give you a weapon code to put after the command. For example, to force class an RPG would be afc rpg, an M4/SF is afc sf, etc. Everything else like to change the round time, change the map, ban/kick people, you'd press F12 for the admin panel. :)
