In the Install tab of Assist hit "reset+repair AA" and see if that fixes it. If not, try a complete reinstall.

It also could be a hardware issue. Does this happen for any other game?

For one, that other thread should have been locked the moment people start insulting your grammar rather than posting about the topic. You actually do have a point there. Although it is a bit ironic to complain about grammar insults when you yourself insult other people rather freely.

Also, you (and a select few others) do get treated differently around here, and there's a good reason for that. You're a troll. No only on the forum but in game as you've been banned TWICE for intentional teamkilling sprees. We're actually really damn lenient with our rules, but you no longer get the benefit of the doubt. That is not something that is unfair again you, but a direct result of your actions in-game on on this website. Have you ever stopped and wondered why it seems like most people on this site always seem to be against you? Surely you have noticed that it's not just the admins that are tired of your trolling.

Do you want that to change? Stop posting threads like this and the "AA is dead" thread. There's no reason for them other than to attract attention to yourself and throw hate our way. That will never get you any respect. It's simple. Just play the game and contribute to discussions without the "everyone else sucks" attitude.

The Assist could be on Steam under the programs software
We don't own the rights to America's Army. We're technically not allowed to modify or redistribute the game. I'm pretty sure we've been over this before.

The project started back in 2008.
It took over the whole game when the US Army dropped their support late 2011.

While it is true that the Assist project was started way back in 2008, it had a different purpose then. Official auth was still up and the client was to unify all of the custom content as well as help people on OS X get into servers.
Assist as we know it today didn't really start until 2012, after the oifficial auth was shut down. Look at version 2.2 in the history wiki.

EDIT: It seems to be that's what you were saying and I just missed it. :P

Think you will find thats what I said and you disagreed now your agreed ahwell thats good.

Has assist Got Team Speak? If it has I never saw . If it hasnt and you know it helps why havent they got it?

Yep its good to bring on new players. But there is a place for it one on one. Theres a new guy just now. SO i have him. Regiment is on ass with two adrian what ever his name is and another reasonable player. I am playing against three. The noob is dancing at the back or idle or throwing smokes every where. That is a pain in the arse. And not the time for it. Reg wanted him kicked when he was on the noobs side, But he didnt want him licked when he was on the other side. SO not the place to learn. And reg iment is another one of these selfish clowns that ruin the game.
I never agreed that AA was dying, just that its prospects for expanding are very poor.

As for TS, we have a TS viewer right on the forum index... I find it hard to believe that you never saw it.

That indeed is a bigger problem. One thing I used to do, on the few maps I know well, is teaching new players the commonly used abbreviations in game, e.g. on bridge ERB/ERC/ERW etc. Especially for the new people who are trying, tiny little things like that can mean a whole lot, and it only takes a minute or two.
Agreed. Honestly this is where teamspeak shines the brightest. You can relay much more knowledge about the game through ts than text chat in-game.
However, this game doesn't have much going for it. It's old, it looks terrible, it's hard to learn, it has very little features and only one game mode. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it, this game only exists for people who used to play it and want to keep playing it. The attraction for new players is simply not there and it never will be no matter what we do.

There are many things wrong with AA nowadays, but one of the most  counterproductive thing I've witnessed is the noobbashing of visibly new players, low honors etc. Everybody goes all negative towards them rather than helping them, and giving some tips. Give newer players a warm welcome, and in stead of teamkilling/votekicking them when they do something stupid, teach them.
I agree to some extent. I'm always nice to new users. I think a bigger problem is that this game has a huge learning curve and it's made even more impossible to learn and have fun when you're going up against a bunch of old time players, which this game is mostly comprised of. It's even worse when you consider all of the pipeline(and other map) defense whores sitting on the easy side of the map and the new users get stuck on assault, get killed a lot and quit the game. It's simply not fun and people will stop playing. This is a problem we unfortunately can't really solve.

AA has bee "dead' and "dying" even since this project was started years ago and yet there are still plenty of people playing.

Accounts with no links are automatically activated, although there is a small delay in the activating. I just looked and your account seems to be activated.

Complete and utter BS.

I am the best. Any who thinks otherwise is either blind or an idiot.

It seems that there is only 1 way to settle this.....
We have to have a match.... of UT99. There's no other logical way to settle who is better at AA.

I'm clearly the best and there's no competition. Anyone who disagree is wrong.

Yea, I was in the PG beta.
Problem with Proving Grounds to me is simple. Instead of staying with the AA2 gameplay (even AA3 gameplay), the devs are trying to emulate CoD, GRP and other BF......I am also not talking about content, but about gameplay.....
The game isn't anything like CoD of BF...  Yeah it's a bit faster than AA2 but CoD or BF like? I don't see it.

All good ideas, but no,  it's not a temperature issue. 64deg C.  This only happens in 25Assist,  even after running as admin and in Vista compatibility mode.
I would still try to update your video cards drivers.
