Well repeating what major said:) but I have same problems with server with better detailed information would be helpful to solve your problems, also go on router and add those ports. allow connection on firewall inbound and outbound. There is a section telling you what to open.

Try reset AA, reinstall again. Or it could be that you downloaded assist from some other source, as you on aa25 menu you can download from this site.
