Hi everyone. I've been playing this SNES game called
Live A Live recently and I took a look at some of the game art. I came across this picture and wallpaper:
Picture
374x321
Wallpaper
800x600
I said to myself I could make a better wallpaper than that! hahaha
Okay so i vectorized the little picture and went through some ideas. I thought to have a background with cactus's and plateaus and western shizzle, but it looked too congested. I went minimalist after that and came up with this:
1280x1024
It's not what I originally envisioned, but I kinda liked it enough to make it part of my rotating backgrounds. Maybe later I'll make some changes to it and give it an actual background so they look like they're standing in front of a saloon or something.
Unfortunatly for me however, the picture looks different inside and outside of Photoshop. Outside of Photoshop, it has more contrast (his mexican cape looks almost completely black) and color. Inside Photoshop, it looks correct obviously. Kinda stupid though because I made sure it had the sRGB profile when starting the composition.
You can have my vector file I made as well.
