Quick update:





Background rotation and pan complete.
Objectives shows, minor corrections needed.

Problems unsolved:
The above version only works on the Bridge, because there is information added to myLevel that is unique to the map.
these values were hardcoded into the code to make it work on the bridge:

But other than that, work is proceeding steadily.

I dont think we will have a Enemy Spoted function, because this is server side.

Enemy spotted is the main goal of the mod, so it will be in there or there will be no mod.
Hopefully I'll solve the replication.

I added the poll here so that I could test the waters before adding some effort of making it myself.
Naturally it would be up to whoever makes these decisions around here now days after the people has their say on the matter if it really would be something valuable to add.

I would be willing to donate some hours of my own time if it would help to acquire the source.
I already have spent an awful amount of time on figuring out 2.8.5. However,  my own business would have to take the main seat in this. I'll be would be willing to do some coding, but someone else have to take the lead in where this thing are going. Current management seem to have a clear understanding on where to lead this project.

I've taken the decision to stop with all activates that are related to America's Army.
This includes all work I've done up to now in regards with bringing Assist to 2.8.5

Main reason for this is that I've just started up an own company and will have to spend all my time to get that to grow into something special.

So good bye to you all. And have fun playing a game we all love.

I was curious to see if I could crack it.
And sure enough, it only took 1 byte replacement to make it work again.

But I'll hold on to releasing it until we settle this issue

And since I've verified that I could get Ultimate.u to work, I also verified that it was NOTHING that we did here at aao25.com that disabled this mod to work, it was caused by the closing of AAmods.com, and that we had nothing to do with.

the source from this ult.mod is avaliable, easy steps to get it, btw you don't even need to, cuz there is another version free of call back.

btw I guess u have interest in this method not in the mod :D, right?
