Yeah I'm definitely going to add them to the pump and storage rooms. I dont think pipes on the ceilings would fit well in the offices but i could continue with the air conditioner vents like i did in the main blue offices.

Lets take it easy for now. It's just 2 people and they seem to know some stuff. But the important thing is we don't know how they work as a team. So I guess the best way to go about this is a community vote on their maps. If they win, their map gets included officially but the thing is they need to remake their map on 2.5. So we only grace them with the editor if their map wins. It's not necessary to include them on our dropbox shared folder. Bueno?

Yeah but we are going to have more people coming. I know that MothaGoosE is getting into the whole mapping thing because I live with him. It seems I have started a movement :)

the converter seems to work just fine. I was even reading the posts and koden was able to convert some custom maps over just fine. But once people convert their maps wont they just be able to stick them on a server anyways?

Yeah idk when i tried to convert my map i did it all by hand so I'm not exactly sure how the converter works. Where I can I download it? I'll try converting a map with it and report back how it goes.

Yeah it would take a lot of planning but it might work. We would need a way for people to submit their creations and we would have to decide on if it would be the entire community voting on the maps or just a certain group of people. Im guessing this would also mean that the editor would be made public to anyone who wants it.

a mission depot as in people submit their map and its voted on bladdy blah blah? Deleting the whitelists would pretty much mean we wouldnt need to update assist for new maps to be played? People could just download the maps they wanted and thats it?

Sergio I think what kicker is saying is it's alot easier and more fun for people if they can just hop in a Pick up game. Its not just a public server its a competitive match. The point is not that it's difficult to setup a pug. The point is to get more people involved in the pug.

I think it needs pipes running through the ceiling and large rooms need the structure support mesh like in weapons cache. Of course these are all just cosmetics.

added some structure supports and got the lightmaping done. The pipes seem to be a bit of a challenge but i shall work on it :)

In-editor screenshots, videos of each map, etc. Although that might make the actual release news less awesome.

I like that idea alot. I could help out with this. :)

I say a post every week. It's automatically sent to Twitter so anybody following (and not necessarily a member of this forum) can see it. Sometimes people need a little reminder. I wish we had other news to post but this is all we have. Keep it up I say.

We could start posting some news about the upcoming mAAp update. Let people know how things are coming and maybe a screenshot here or there. Who knows might even get people more interested in playing mAAp maps more often?
