yeah cos us people with the editor cant tell the difference by looking at the player starts :)

I think i've never opened Rummage on both 2.5 and 2.8.5. But i can tell the difference in brightness even on my scrappy Samsung laptop screen.

Koden deserves an icon. He put a lot of hard work into Interdiction and converting 2.8 assets. I know he'll be doing more work in the future as well :)

I started in 2.8.3, back in spring 2008. I played some time, quitted for almost a year, came back in 2009, at the end of 2010 work drew me back from AA, and i came back in mid-early 2011.

I still remember the first time i've played, i was impressed by the amount of players and the gameplay skills (it was a Bridge Crossing public server i think).

If you have an issue with the v7 public beta, please review the list in this thread and if your issue is not listed, please post the issue with a video/screenshot (if applicable) in a reply for this thread. Your issue will be added to the main post with your name next to it.


Pipeline - Hallway steam emitters aren't the same around the map (replace old ones).
Pipeline - Roof windows use the old mesh which disappears when shot.
Pipeline - Catwalk grate textures can only see one way, players below can't see players above.
Breakout - CommVolumes overlap certain areas
Berg - Team leader playerstart doesn't work - Needs to be tested
Interdiction - Floor in loading area has no material set
Interdiction - Some doors are one-way movers
Interdiction - Uniforms hopefully, better test this online
Interdiction - Light meshes missing from loading area and lower parts of pilars and hallways
Interdiction - Final briefing files all 3 of them.
Interdiction - Objectives shouldn't really be bTakeTurns if it's questioning an informant objectives are now inanimated
Interdiction - Remove collision on loading bumpers so players don't get stuck so easily
Interdiction - Prisoner health
Interdiction - Door frame around unlockable door needs to block coronas // funny thing i checked and they block coronas.
Interdiction - Unlockable door should crush on enroach to avoid ghosting campers from preventing it to open fully
Interdiction - Medical rooms have weird wall textures
Interdiction - Objectives shouldn't have terms like "you" as the messages are broadcast to all players on a team.
Interdiction - Missing light mesh above ladder


Slots - Join a server, don't select a team. It will say "Unable to find a starting spot for you (the server may be full). You will need to watch this round." Seen on Shipment and possibly other maps.

I kept working on Interdiction, still have an issue with a T_AAO_Metal package which shouldn't be anywhere in the map but still bothers. Objective replaced, more like urban assault, many of the bugs Spanky posted are fixed. 

Jonny gave me another day or two so ill be completing the remaining things tomorrow (tuesday).

Exact same thing happens for me too.

The website looks down to me, anyway. I happened to have the same temporary ban issue, but i was lucky enough to have another laptop to check from, so until it went down i was able to reach it.

the americas army website used to say how many accounts had been made.
rounded its 12 million entries so just the list of usernames itself, without tied i.p's mac's bans etc etc
its only 80 times the size of that interdiction .txt :)

I wonder how much it costs (costed) to maintain such a beast. Maybe Spanky or Jared have a rough idea of the theorical cost.

I've always felt both teams meet in that operating room at about the same time (within a second)
vip just has to find a nice comfy closet before then, or hide behind a nurse...
on that idea what about if nate finds a way to take the nurse's as human shields, just like hitman


Lol, the idea of using a person as a shield and making for huge loads of roe scores. Oh wait, campers do that already  :(

If the AI was working decently we could set NPCs (civilians) to avoid sticking in one place or to provide cover.

Yep the teams can theorically meet in the operation room (taking out m203 dropshots and letting them run to it).

or get spanky to host the anticheat database if they dont play aa anymore and are considering removing it

I would dare to say that it isn't a small database, lol. If we're talking about even 1/4 of the whole AA player accounts, it has to be around millions of accounts and gazillions of entries (and consider many had more than 1 account).
