No. In reality, if you're shot, you're shot. People are not rambos and will not keep running around when their legs are shot or holding a gun with a bullet in the sholder or hand even if a medic treats them.

But this is a game so it's OK to be shot and run around :)

I like it because it makes it much harder for one player to just camp to win a round. When the other team can revive their guys you really can't just sit in a corner.
Well, if you sit in a corner and kill everyone who comes around the corner, how would the enemy revive them without killing you first?

If you're not on Windows 8:
Your settings will not change when you're not in full screen mode. It might seem as you are, but you might not be. Pressing Alt+Enter will switch between fullscreen and windowed mode or you could go to Settings - Video and enable Fullscreen mode.

I don't know exactly why they took it out all those years ago, however it does seem like a risk going in to a (somewhat) functioning hospital with civilian personnel with RPGs (or with 203s for that matter), I don't know whether or not the US Army would do such a thing.

But other than that, it might be an interesting thing to try :)

i have been just warned about a pm i did witch wasnt nice nor friedly, but done as a reaction to someone who did that in a hard core way to me. so not everything is allowed - also not via pm. just to inform you all. today rule like this, tomorrow like others.
We don't monitor PMs on this site. Hell, the forums don't even have a feature for that (of course, digging in the database would allow it, but not really worth it).

The only time we see PMs is whne someone reports abuse on them. That's why we saw what he wrote to you. And that's why we saw your answer (which was worse than what he told you btw).

Its not the problem about the 26 slots but the weapons in it 26 players trow granades up the roof is funny. So ther are anough weapons in this game . Select this to make this game atractive.
p.s i hope all slots will be dune so i can  make a nice gameplay for bcd after summer when i am home .
Let's make it the Russian way then - 1 has a gun, the next has the ammo :)

This is actually more doable than it sounds, it was included in AA up to version 2.3...


I imagine it would take the similar effort that was used to port the ACU outfits from 2.8.5.

This is an old game. Nothing that we add to it will make it any newer. The engine and the core game would still be the same. In that sense we can never get on the same level as newer games.

You're right that the game could use a new feature or 2, but as you said we have very limited resources in this department.

And as for client releases, most of the recent ones were absolutely necessary for the game to continue working with Assist.

Most of the playerbase is veterans of AA. I doubt adding new stuff would make more new players join our game. It's still going to be an old game and there's just so many new games out there to choose from. Not to mention the fact that most of them will not even know this thing exists.

But all in all, a call for a "change" is not really worth much without clear ideas about what to change. I know you've posted ideas before (hell, you did pretty much the same time you posted this), though.

As far as a list of things that "could" or "coudn't" be done, we'd first need to start with a list of things that people would like to have in the game. This is no easy feat, however. Not everyone likes the same stuff and finding things that the majority would like to be changed is not that easy. Hell, most people prefer no change - look at all the people playing one map for thousands of hours for example. Humans are lazy that way.

Yes, it is definitely possible to increase player slots on maps. This has been done many times before.

However, as you correctly stated, for maps such as CT, having more lots would not really make much sense. The maps are built to be balanced the way they are. Adding slots isn't that easy as there are generally not many places to physically fit the new spawns (so that they don't alter the overall map gameplay).
