You're right, ".[Ak4].Irish" is your username and what you should log in with.

Failing to log in, just use their tool to get a password sent to you email and then check all the emails you have access to as well as their spam folders. frankof over at battletracker can tell you what kind of email you used (@yahoo.com , @gmail.com and so on) if you need.

Other than that there's nothing we can help you with. The account belong to battletracker and we don't have control over them.

Maybe you could just choose this in server settings, so the real defence heroes would still have some servers to play on?

And I don't see a problem with the VIP maps. One side has a VIP slot while the other has the top slot, so it's like 'taking a risk' to have the top slot, sounds fair.

It works the way you describe if you change sides. However, the point here would be to have people randomly spawn on either side. Sort of like Dockside.

I haven't fiddled around with the editor myself and I don't know whether or not one slot can be VIP on one round and regular the next.

It takes away people's choice for defending/assaulting.

A way it would work would be like on Pipeline, defense would spawn in north pump and assault would spawn on the south hills. Something like that. Just keeps defense defending and assault assaulting.
I believe that was the idea - to have people play both sides. It's like the "switch side in the middle of the match" idea, except it's more random.

It doesn't matter whether or not it's the same as your login name. You can still use it.

Just log in to battletracker using the same information you used to log in to Assist and go to my link and add your AAO PlayerName.

Compare District to PCR, PCR = 90 FPS / District = 20

I just don't understand how a smaller map can be so large that it has that big of an effect on users gameplay.
I'm not saying that it can't be optimised. I'm saying there's limits to what can be done.

Bare in mind that we manage this project out of our free time for no other benefits. I know Spanky knows how to optimize maps, but I'm not sure if he's got time, what with that upcoming court and stuff (that's right, I know, Spanky :D).

Make sure you use your battletracker username (and not the in game name) when you log in to Assist.

If that's not the problem, then take a screenshot of the exact error.

Just take a look at the cover shots for the 2 maps:

Compared to District, Pipeline looks just plain. You can clearly see more details in District.
And of course Pipeline has more details inside, but it's still got less than the newer maps.
You can see how regular Pipe has a lack of detail by comparing it to Spanky's mAAp Pipeline.

lol, but seriously, i mean if your going to convert maps, why not take the time and make them playable.
Nobody's forcing you to play the map.

It probably would, but it would also mean that the map would loose it's detail.

I'm not sure whether or not Spanky has already gone over the map trying to optimize it as he did with AA3 maps. There's a limit as to how far you can go with that, of course (as is evident from AA3 maps as well).

I don't feel like 1 RPG per team would be too overpowered, but I suppose it's a matter of testing.
