Cause using quick swap and what other bug suppose to be removed by assist,  Is this fair play to players that don't choose to use it???
Nope nope and nope

Just saying!!!!!!!!!
If you can't be bothered to read other peole's replies, I don't know why I should bother repling to you.
Killa explained it rather well, though.

lmfao new i get that type of respond from u
and hell no i won't give a easy kill, work for it
I play fair I don't need no advantage with the quick swap ahahahahahha
So if you fired a 203 or threw a frag and I was certain to die, yet managed to press the suicide keybind before doing so, you'd find it fair game?

General Chat / Re: This Guy...

He didn't yet. It's been like this for a month now:
http://aao25.com/forum/support/same-username/msg91803/#msg91803

So the question is these 2 accounts:
real one
imposter

The fact that the guy changed his username a day after the real one changed it to something extremely similar is alarming indeed.

I feel this has gone long enough and it's time for him to find a name of his own. He's obviously not a part of the clan either.

Simple fix 4 flashes,   suicide key bind lol

Fuck ur free flash kill, not on me butchhhhhh ahahhhh haha

But have to make key bind ever time I login in assist doesn't save it lol
We actively discourage the use of a suicide keybind by deleting it automatically.

Well, since tracker pretty much IS your online playername, you're always going to be connected to it.
There is no way of playing untracked.

You can, however, just run AA in offline mode and run around, try different guns, movements, accuracy and so on. However, there are slight differences between offline and online game mechanics (for instance, when learning trickfrags I've seen them fly differently online and offline).
You can also do all the training missions (especially the MOUT one, I suppose) to try and get a feel to the game.

If something is used by maybe most players, and it doesnt actually make anyone gain huge unfair advantage, its part of the game. Game is people who play it, they make the game. Americas Army is just a platform for players to play the game.
Well, to be honest, it does give a rather significant advantage.
For example, in certain situations where you hear another guy take out a flash, if there was no quickswap you could storm him without fearing he'd quickswap back to his gun before you come around the corner.

I agree with the 2nd part - the players make the game. However, not all the players are in agreement on quickswap.

Hardware/Software / Re: Fun Link
« on: Wednesday, September 23, 2015, 03:26:40 AM »
There's a link that will crash google chrome browser because of an (double)encoded NULL charecter sent to the browser.
The one he provided is that link. I just made it unclickable and added the one line explanation.

I was talking about taking a screenshot of results that are drawn with the tool I made, it gives you completely random results, if the drawn was made and screenshot was taken buy someone who is not playing at the tournament at all and who everyone trusts it would be fair for everyone.

Ganja I know :)
Oh, so you want someone that's not you to take a screenshot and then post it here to get a "neutral" result for the set?

I'm sure that can be arranged :)

Assist Support / Re: Account Activation
« on: Tuesday, September 22, 2015, 12:18:04 PM »
okay, my username still has to be activated, but i thought the problem was that my brother allready had an account, so i thought that was the problem. We both play on differant PC's, but of course its the same IP adress
If you have different computers in the same household (resulting in the same IP), it's not a problem.

The reason your account was flagged as a second account was because there was already an account that had played on that computer.

Now, since that account is your friends' and he went back home, we can see that your computer has only your account.

ELiZ activated your account. You are free to play.

Oh, I only now saw that he was already in game :)

But his last reply was ever so confusing.

I knew that would come up, hell no I don't want to face your team! :D Any of admins willing to click the button and share the screenshot here? :)

We're about to use 1st person view for spectators as in it will work, its a bit buggy. So using it prevents ghosting enough.

edit: actually I was so sure that you'd be bringing that one in :D
What picture?

And in any decent scrim I've ever played, only first person view was used...

Just use the same tool to calculate the results as well :)

Looks nice, though!

And yes, ronski, you can be connected to the same server twice as well.

It has never been a part of AA2.5 maplist.

It was developed for AA2.8 and is one of the few maps that we've not imported.

all teams  going to ts.aao255.com?
Remove a 5 from there :)

I'm not organizing this, but if I were, I wouldn't make it mandatory for everyone to be on the same TS, but I would make it mandatory that someone of each team be on the joint TS for easy communications (you can be on multiple TS's at the same time and hear what's being said on both).
