It's silly to think you have any rights at all online. Damn near every site logs your IP, many more log more information. Why is nobody upset about this? Same thing for the government to peek at info flying every which way. If you don't want something known, don't send it out into the world via your computer. It's pretty simple. Even without the government watching, there's hackers...
Well, almost everyone uses at least a social network (Either Facebook, Twitter, or whatever else), often looking for something on Google, taking a peak over youtube videos or reading your fav news website...we leave marks just by making choices.
