Pit, you can try to rule AA like a dictator, but you can't stop people from leaving. Keep using rules that could potentially punish legit players and you'll have nobody left to play the game.

Without proof it's his word against the hacker's. That's dead even. When you have a bunch of other people saying he isn't cheating, that tips it in the banned users favor. That should never happen.
Therefore it's irrelevant. The Anti-cheat authority must not bend under the pressure of some yelling crowd.
Just because we can't detect every hack doesn't mean we need to overcompensate and ban without evidence.

There is too much room for error. Without proof it's your word against the person who is banned. And when you have multiple people in a thread backing up the banned user while you're the only one saying he's hacking, it really ruins your credibility. It shouldn't be like that, that should never happen.

I really disagree with this. If it's obvious he's wall hacking from viewing him, then use fraps and record it. At least something to show the guy was sketchy. There is just too much room to ban people who do nothing wrong.

We are trying to solve the cheater accusation problem.The cheater submissions system will be revamped so there's less bullshit posts with no proof. Just not sure how it is going to be done yet. We've also talked about removing honor from servers running mods like the pick a weapon mod in the past, but I doubt that'll ever happen.

« on: Wednesday, August 01, 2012, 15:05:25 PM »after removing the drivers i was able to restart into normal windows.Did you install the same ones you previously downloaded or did you download new ones? I would download new ones in case there was something wrong with the previous ones.
However, after reinstalling the nvidia driver, i got the same bluescreen :/
