This community is focused on America's Army 2 in particular. Some players may be able to answer your questions regarding Proving Grounds (I am not one of them, unfortunately), but you may have better luck on the Steam community discussions page.
With that said, if you have ever played Americas Army 2 in the past, or would like to experience the title that would spawn 3 and eventually Proving Grounds in the series, feel free to hop in-game with the community some evening!

Navigate to %appdata%\25Assist and place 7za.exe (download provided in Teddy's reply) in this directory.
When that is finished, open settings.dat, scroll down and if you notice a line that reads 'Sourceforge', replace it with 'AAO25.com'.

Please visit the account recovery page where you'll be prompted to input your username OR email, not both. Make sure you check your spam folder and the email will likely end up there.

The first step, should they not remember their username/password, would be attempting to recover their accounts here. They will have to provide a username OR email, not both.
Additionally, I am able to find all of the accounts with the exception of Gremlynbob^.

It seems that the only option currently is SourceForge. (Unless the blank option defaults to aao25.com?) Unfortunately, I've tried both this morning without success.

If you've tried to create a server using Assist Server Manager recently, you may have run into this error
Fortunately, a workaround is possible.
1. Download 7-Zip 4.57.0.0. The archive contains a 506 KB executable, 7za.exe.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/sevenzip/files/7-Zip/4.57/7za457.zip/download
2. If you've encountered this error before, you'll likely have a 1 KB 7za.exe executable alongside AssistServerManager.exe and AssistServerManagerLibs. Replace this file with the 506 KB executable you've downloaded in the previous step. If you do not have this file, place it in the Assist Server Manager folder.
3. Start AssistServerManager.exe. It should start without issue and allow you to create a server.

I do not see a game account with either your forum name or the AA name listed on your forum profile. For clarification, your forum account is different from the account you will use to sign into the game client. Can you share that name of the account you created?

You account does in-fact exist however -Hax is the display name. The name used to log into the account is different. I have sent you a private message with this information which will allow you to sign in or, at the very least, reset your password here.

I like this idea but I unfortunately believe it is not possible. AATracker utilizes the same query protocol as Battletracker did, which is quite old. To my knowledge this is the only reliable method to query an AA2 server.
I'll have to double check if this provides any information regarding the win/loss per team, but I do know that it does not provide any information to identify which team a player belongs to. While BT did have a few more features than AATracker, it did not include this information for likely the same reason.
If I ever find a way to make it possible, I'll absolutely do so! I just can't think of a way this would be feasible, currently.

It's all relative though. A busy night on AAO25 now could be matched with just my own clan playing an internal scrim back in 2008 or so...
Really quiet over the weekend, but it is 4th July. Being in Scotland I forgot and thought AA was finally dying, but I can see people are filtering back. Probably fairly bloated....
