I suppose your real problem is that you logged in to your account today, changed it's name to something that doesn't work ingame and then tried to create a new account.

Like the email you got said, we allow one account per PC, you will have to stick to the one you have got:

As for the name change, since we don't control battletracker.com and the accounts are their accounts, we can't bypass the 24h wait - even an admin has had to wait it. So you'll need to wait the 24 hours and then change your name to something suitable.
The wiki has lists for approved characters and disallowed characters in one's playername if you're still wondering.

Funniest thing is that admins don't seem to visit Assist on a regular basis. Auth down several times last few hours, and we got no explanation from them so far.

I'm sorry I don't meet your expectations and don't visit the site every hour.

Every time I come here it's been online. The only thing I can do is restart auth at a random time. I doubt it would change much, though.

And the name is a combination of "Extravagance"/"Extravaganza" and "Maps"  if that's what you were wondering, Vanoke.

I just really personally like the name, it's somehow funny yet related to what the goal is - to play a bunch of different maps.

In every other kind of Multiplayer game i've been since i started playing i never saw a situation like this.

Counter Strike, Call of Duty, BattleField...even in Age of Empires the rules are the following:

You are an admin: You can Ban a player, but you have to proof the motives this player got banned in your server.

You are the Banned player: You have the right and a place (that should be here) to defend yourself to be extingued from a server/game.

We don't know why you and the CLAN on who's server you're banned (BaLa) haven't been able to work it out. As you described, this is how it works in other games and it's the same way here. You get banned from one place, you need to take it up with them. We didn't ban you, we can't unban you. Only BaLa can do that.

The only reason this is even discussed at this level (by the people who help run this whole game) is because we don't have a lot of players and it is therefore possible. In any other game with thousands of players, this kind of problem would be dismissed within minutes. Killaman tried to do what was in his power and should not be asked to do more than he can.

I understand you feel you and your clan have been banned unfairly - and that might indeed be the case -, however it has always been and still is a problem between you and BaLa.

I'm sorry if this seems harsh, but it's the unfortunate truth.


This is a community, if the admins here start being dictators and doing everything they want to any server they want, it will soon not be. At least in my view, that's why we can't act on such things.

The account (created almost 2 years ago) was created on the computer that you yourself - at least at that time - were mainly using that's why it was rejected.

Have him create a new account on his PC (and not yours).

It will take you to maps you love now as well as to your future favourites. Every Sunday there will be a different theme with four different maps. Each map will have two sets and certain amount of rounds, after which the map will be changed (map rotation will not be time driven).

The event kickoff is on Sunday 06.12 at 20.00 CET at the official MAPSTRAVAGANZA server, be there or be square!

Are you sure your network is working good all round? Have you tested it somehow (let's say on a different game - no idea which one would run on your machine though lol)?
It seemed to me that some of the hops on your trace route were failing when you sent it to me.
