shit no we didnt use the randomizer. I completely forgot you created that spanky :( We shall use it next week. This week we picked maps by picking the last 3 maps that have yet to be played in thursday night fights yet and added a mAAp map as well. Like I said we all forgot that you made that randomizer which is poop but it will get used.

Probably a stupid question but would there be a way to in a way "steal" the ai code from 2.8.5 or is that unavailable stuff?

UA should be updated. The glitches where you can get ontop of bravo central and western objective. Need some player blocking volumes there.

In terms of changing the gameplay of original maps? what does that REALLY mean?

yeah i think those issues have been fixed for the next update but not sure? if not when i get some time i can do that. I think what they mean by changing gameplay is literally making a new version of the map. Kinda similar to what spanky did with pipeline.

Ganja you seem not to understand, why would you like to play this the same thing over again and again? it was like this all these years and had not changed in-game at all. But this community can let their hands on this development and construct a very good game. Community should work without asking people about this, they got assist back and they work on it to produce best quality. If we let them work then we get what we want a real army game experience.

First of all as cool as change would be I'm not sure how much we can actually change. Making maps and doing a few tweaks sure but increasing graphics and changing gameplay noticeably might not be that easy and maybe not even possible. Also the whole reason this game is still around is because people love it. Look what happened when the Devs tried to change it (AA3) It killed off 90% of the community. Changing things too much now would kill off whats left of the game IMO.

Yeah it is a good idea but as jared said you have to make sure the map stays balanced. As for original maps we have plenty of those they just dont get played that often. All the old players of AA dont want to learn new maps. They want things to stay the same. Thats why the only maps that get played often are Hospital, Pipeline, Urban etc...

The only problem with what you want to do is that nobody here is getting paid to do anything. It might be difficult to find more staff for coding because it would just be something they would have to do in their spare time. Who is going to want to code a whole new version of a dead game for nothing? Also graphics wise AA never really improved until AA3. AA has always used the UnrealEngine 2 (until aa3 obv) and all they did in the updates was work out some of the bugs. To make a whole new version of the game would take a great deal of time. As you can see the mAAp updates that are done take a good amount of time. I think the game itself is fine and maybe a little update here or there such as the digital camo switch is cool. As far as changing gameplay goes I dont think its going to happen.

Honor Claims / Re: Honor problem

sometimes it just takes a little bit for 25assist to realize you've honored up. I've noticed this with my account a few times anyway. Not sure if its an actual problem but have you tried logging out of assist and logging back in?
