That seems to be how the admins are running things now. You can't really question anything they do as you will never get the answer you're looking for, just a locked or deleted topic. They're scared of an actual discussion, as was shown by the locking of many server mod threads. It's pretty sad. I'd be surprised if this topic doesn't suffer the same fate.

« on: Thursday, May 02, 2013, 18:24:43 PM »I know there's not a whole lot of them, but I understand that's the reason 2.5 still existed next to 2.8.5 back when AA2 was popular, so it would be logical to include them if possible.That's not the reason 2.5 was still populated along side 2.8. I was one of those 2.5 players and everyone I knew had a Windows PC. People just preferred the smaller community and the gameplay in 2.5.
As for the 2.8.5 move, isn't 2.5 incompatible with the latest OSX anyways? Also, I remember Jonny a while back threw up some statistics of which OS used Assist the most and there were VERY few Linux and OSX users. I doubt there would be any complaints if it were to move to 2.8.5. If anything, I believe it might cause a player base increase as 2.8.5 was the most popular version of the game and people might be willing to come back to play it.

You need a capital letter for Rumors. There is no need for the comma after "say". "English" needs to be capitalized. "Suicided" isn't even a word. Lastly, you need a period.
On topic, I feel that there is no point in not tracking modded servers anymore. Those that think players will stop playing on modded servers because it doesn't count towards honor and stats are fooling themselves. The majority of players wouldn't even notice. The only reason this should have been done was to protect the stat system, but it's already been so long that it doesn't even matter anymore.

AA 2.5 needs all the players it can get. But I do feel that they shouldn't be tracked.

Me and my brother played AA together for the longest time. That wouldn't be possible if we limited each IP to 1 account.
