I know that at some point it was extremely difficult to even jon WC because of the CEs... And the engine isn't really fully ready for the kind of physics implemented on Pball IMHO.

This is an old game full of bugs. It will crash every now and then.
Unless you can't play at all or it's happening at exactly the same place each time, it's nothing to worry about.

There's a first time for everything.

What update are you referring to by "the update"?
Did it crash just once or more than once?
If it was just once then don't worry about it, just keep playing. The game is buggy and WILL crash every now and again for everyone. If this is truly the first time it ever happened to you then either you've not played very much or you've been extremely lucky.

If it wasn't just once then we need more information such as when did the game crash? How did it crash? What did the error say?
