heh, i know its not that easyNo, it's not doable. There is no way we could get the source code to bring back a game they discontinued. It's not going to happen. They're not going to give random people free reign over a game using their America's Army brand. That would be stupid.it is doable. 2.8.5 would attract a huge amount more players, and its more fun to play!
Brussel's, imagine being the man behind the revival of AA2. Both competitively and public. All you need to do is spare enough dollar to fund some good coders.It's not as simple as that. There is no way in hell we would be able to get the source code for AA2. It just won't. happen. We can't make any big changes without the source code.
Think of it as an investment, when the game is bigger then AA4 and the USA want to buy the code back you'll make a ton of money.
Do you mean maps with AI? Because spankyville is about the best it's going to get from what I understand. There is no good way to do AI in the 2.5 editor.
Some more offline/single player maps. Looking at Spanky our lead map developer when he has some time, I would like to see more 'Spankyville' types single player maps.

Thats what I have said since started testing a month ago. It looks like CoD with America's Army over the top of it.But it's not. If you think it is, you either haven't played AA4, or you haven't played CoD.
One video I saw reminded me about CoD, wanted to cryThe game is nothing like CoD. Not even close. It seems closer to AA2 than AA3 was. I like the new revive system as well. This way you can't just camp for kills and win matches, you actually have to go and secure people or their teammates can revive them.
