Player has been permanently banned due to obnoxious behavior, multiple complaints and prior bans.

Guily I think you're talking shit again.

ELiZ, all he wants is dsound.dll to not be deleted. All it does is give you environmental effects such as reverb, delay, slight ambient sounds. It just makes it more immersive. It does not let you hear further or glitch out the system.

Of course the difference between software and hardware is noticeable. This engine was built when single-core CPU's were roaming about and they wanted to minimize the load on the CPU. Software means it's rendered on the CPU, hardware means it's rendered on... other hardware. Whether or not it actually works these days is debatable but more than likely, Epic Games has more advanced settings for hardware such as higher channel count, less lossy renders and probably other stuff.

America's Army definitely supports EAX. The problem is, the AA devs didn't always implement it or fully use it in all maps. Some maps just have reverb effects set up in some rooms/areas. Pipeline is setup a bit from what I remember.

How about that xbox360 game America's Army True Soldiers? Does someone here have the iso? Dunno if that is unreal engine too but we can check if there are map files on the disk?
Different engine, called YETI.

That's what I was hoping to answer if ELiZ could convert the maps. I doubt the maps are exactly the same on XBOX. There are similar maps and different training maps.

The only difference I know of for sure is that there's snow on Bridge. A lot of things just look different:

Feedback & Suggestions / Re: Blood?
« on: Tuesday, February 04, 2014, 23:58:09 PM »
I would fully agree. There should be blood pools that come out when a player dies.

I've always thought the pain overlay could be better done. Much like on newer games. The devs even wanted to do this, there's textures for it but I think the pain overlay is only used WHILE being wounded not while you're injured.

News / Re: Player shadows has been disabled.
« on: Tuesday, February 04, 2014, 23:55:04 PM »
It's an engine problem. Epic would have to update the engine,in which case we'd need the source to rebuild on the new engine.

It's just old is all. It happens on all dynamic lights (even on some static lights). Player shadows were a bit of a hack anyway as the game doesn't fully support dynamic shadows.

I missed you guily :) <3

I'm sure it can be done. Even if Assist has to install it by default and MD5 it to make sure it's not something else.

The only question I see from you Vanoke is 3. The answer is, same way you get out of any other website. Close the tab/window.

Believe me or not but A LOT of players use macro and whatever, they can be what they want. They will never be as skilful as a normal player.

Quoted for truth. I believe.

I thought UX designers were meant to make things more intuitive and pleasant for the users. Here you are making us scroll all the way down for a mod that was installed. Easy way out methinks.

I just checked file hashes since I was unsure about someone editing it before. The hashes are identical on the 2.5 install I got from FileFront and the current Assist version. Nobody but official devs has touched it.
