Support / Re: Punkbuster restriction kick
« on: Tuesday, March 01, 2016, 12:42:55 PM »
Since there's no updates to Assist within the past couple of days I find it highly unlikely it's Assist that's broken.

Did you do any Windows updates or something like that yesterday? I've seen it even do that automatically.

Alternatively, I just had a quick google on it (punkbuster isn't only for AA so finding answers on a generic google search is possible) and found 1 answer like this:
Open your Control Panel. Go to Administrative Services. Click on Services while PR is running. Select Punkbuster B, right click, select properties, select the recovery tab and make sure they all say "Restart the service" for all three dropdowns. You can do the same for PB A, but generally speaking, it's the B client that stops responding. Any time you update PB, you may need to re-do this step.

thanks teddy, you know him to i guess :) - lazy and crazy. he will not come back without that account he told me. and he did install the game again yesterday, he did play with another account but.... what about Frankhof, can he do something when i will email him?
so far, thanks a lot. i will tell Orange the email and about what you did say.
The only thing frankof can do is check the email attached to accounts. He can't reset passwords or stuff like that.

It is still possible that his email is not in use. The account was made so many years ago - there might just be a new company behind the website now.

Now that I'm at home, I checked what email he has registered to his account and it's a "@siol.net" account. I can still see that site active (http://www.siol.net/ )  so perhaps he had used a different email than he thought and can thus still access it?

If we had a way,  we would have let other people use it before.
We don't control battletracker.com so we can't change their passwords.

The only way I can think of would be if he has an old installation still up somewhere where he has asked to remember the password. Then settings.dat would be the one to look for.

What if he has that graphic bug and he sees through the walls because of that :D
He had better not! :D
To be honest, I've had this kind of bug myself. Could see through parts of the big round things on Pipeline Main Pump room.

I can not log in. Because I had marked for logging in to your account banned - remember me.
You need to delete settings.dat under 25Assist folder where your AA is installed (refer to aao25.com/support/#faq).

Hardware/Software / Re: Looking for a new mouse
« on: Friday, February 26, 2016, 11:03:47 AM »
Well, at least it can be registered but I would still not buy there. I'm already going for a Mionix mouse.
I've bought from aliexpress many times, never had a problem they haven't been able to fix. Have had some issues, but I've always got a refund (only once a partial one).
With that said, I don't think any of those items have warranty.

And if you've already decided, it doesn't matter anyway :)

since when players can be recorded as a proof?????
It has never been considered primary proof and likely never will. We've used it in a few cases for secondary proof, though.

30 is not even possible, with a decent mouse, warm and (not tired) hands, maybe 6 or 7? I don't know, honestly.
I got a max of 9 I think, but then I was only clicking. The reason I said 30 is because you said you'd do 20 in 2/3 seconds, which I thought would mean 20 in 0.666 seconds, but I suppose you meant 20 in 2-3 seconds.

And I do think the "regular" max would be somewhere around 7-8 per second.

Ahhhm. I ment how many clicks is conciderd posible.
Ultimate Click Speed Test
Don't worry, you won't (and haven't) done it accidentally ever.

This reminds me of when I used to play the old aapg beta, back in 2014. Back then the m14 (long barrel carbine) was almost good in close quartier combat as much as a shotgun, possibly much more precise because it didn't still had the precision cone drop that now makes it more realistic, and I was able to shoot it so fast (like, single-firing 20 bullets in 2/3 seconds to take down 5 or 6 enemies) that I got asked a couple times if I was using a macro ^^ all of that with an old Logitech m100 ^^ .

Oh, and btw, I think there are a few apps or online tools you can use to check your clickrate speed.
Yeah, for example http://cookie.riimu.net/speed/
I would like to see you (or anyone else really) do 30 clicks per second, though...

I work in a scientific research center (Centre for Biorobotics) at my university (Tallinn University of Technology). We make bio mimetic robots. I mostly work on an underwater robot called U-CAT.
I work on the software end. Mostly writing awful code.

What is conciderd humanly possible?
It's something that a human can do. Something that doesn't require a computer's/machine's assistance.
