Personally, I'm happy to learn and listen, I just don't see any facts presented from religious people. I have yet to see documentation and proof about a god - any god.

See, the neat thing about science is that while there's plenty of times we're wrong, we're human and it helps us in the process of learning and understanding. You can't do that with religion. It is what it is and you blindly believe in it. With science, you don't have to rely on anyone else or believe, you can follow the scientific approach and reach the same definitive results all want by yourself.

Another slur to make atheists look bad. You know the slur for religious persons that believe in Jesus & god? Christians. So many fake ones out there that say they believe but live a far from holy life and really don't care about the moral values that the bible actually teaches.

You don't have to be religious to have good moral values, just the same as being religious doesn't make you a good person.

You want a date line? Think about the speed of light and distances to far away suns. Those that are literally, a few million lightyears away. Our night sky would be far dimmer if everything was 2000 years old.

If you believe in the bible then you must like incest, cruelty and loads of fiction. I suggest the Harry Potter series to you, I bet you'll like it. Just, please, remember that, it too, is fiction.

Good way to get both banned. Sharing accounts is stupid and will lead to trouble sooner or later.

On the same note, from what I've seen, the vast majority of Israel would be banned since it seems everybody over there shares accounts with everybody else.

Do yourself a favor and read text before you copy-pasta it (really, you couldn't even click the "Quote" button?). Specifically, take a look at the year I enlarged/bolded in your quote. That post was from 4 years ago. Really irrelevant information.

Not that you're expected to know but AAO25 as you see it today has had a long history, it existed before it was even called AAO25, before it's primary reason for existence was America's Army. It was a forum I ran for fun for friends to get together and bullshit. When Jonny (the original coder of Assist) started gaining momentum with his program, I made a sub-forum for it since he was too lazy to make his own. It grew larger over time and this site morphed into AAO25, the main hub for all things AA 2.5 and Assist. Just because you dig up an old post doesn't mean it has relevance today and this goes for ANYWHERE on the Internet.

If you need to be told what the rules are then you must not have much common sense. Rules across Internet forums are generally similar. If you want specific rules for this forum, your best bet is to look at the TOS agreement in Assist.

I won't deny that there's a lack of consistency. There always has been. Assist has changed hands several times. People come and go, so do admins. The bottom line is, this is a hobby for everyone involved. It's not a job or livelihood. There can't and doesn't always need to be clear-cut black and white rules applying for all scenarios. Whenever the admins are presented with a problem, the best course of action is discussed through level-headed and mature private discussions and, I firmly believe, they/we do a pretty good job given the circumstances.

Nothing wrong with AA3, it just was rushed early and the development team kicked out... can't do judgements based on the alpha version that it still is.

My point is that they set out to re-make the game on a newer engine. They failed because it was nothing like the AA2. People still enjoyed the game but it was nothing like AA1 and AA2. They finally figured that out with AAPG, it's an entirely different game.

If people set out to re-make AA2, it will fail/succeed just like AA3 did.
