Dav3 do you really have to bitch on everything, you should be thankfull that the tournament admins are willing to allow US teams playing on a league organized by euro players, cause since i remember it's the first time something like that is made. Now if you want play in this tournament you have to accept the rules otherwise don't play it at all.

I remember being in a 5v5 match in SF Recon and my team got killed in the first minute, that was one of the most shameful moments in my AA life  :D

Merlin i meant no disrespect but your servers are terrible, full of lag, high ping... and i'm not the only one complaining...

Your team could get raped in the first 30 seconds, but it does not take long to you play again, bad it's when you get killed by a drop shot in Bridge and have to wait 6 minutes till the round end. Sometimes you get a bad spawn and sometimes you get a good one, that's the Extraction/PCR mystic...

Every time someone talks about "making maps more even" i think of that in a competitive way, Extraction is a great pub map, since the competition is none nowadays, in my humble opinion, we shouln't have that kind of change, take the Radio Tower example, it's (could be) probably the most defensive sided map AA has, although pubbing there is awsome. Most of the players like quick rounds and close quarter combat, and somehow Extraction can give you that...

Btw i voted no.

General Chat / Re: Unbanning Pit-23, boon or bane

Admins keep saying the Pit's case is different, but i can't barely see the difference except he was Assist head leader which makes his case even worst, the lack of arguments make me think you unbanned him because you can, or you aren't telling us the real truth...

Jonny, i haven't seen no one in previous threads questing your ability to leader, since you came back you have made some great and significant improvements. I said this once and i will do it again, i think you are a wise and tolerant guy, but you have no right to ask people to respect Pit after what he did, Pit acted like an immature kid, when he took advantage of his Assist knowledge to bypass Anti-cheat, for that and can not back you up on this specific decision.

Bart those facts are not accurate.

Let's make it clear - the main reason were two recent events:

- Spanky "hijacking" the sourceforge project (by removing other admins and taking the donation account)
- Jared hacking down the aao25.com site (by stealing my password, removing some files, deleting all user accounts)

but hey spanky maybe you should tell us the reason pit cheated, if you really know it.

Am i the only one who remembers why he left in the first place?

Point is, that's all a long time ago. I don't do that anymore.

I've a pretty good mind and i do remember why Pit left in the first place, and you know what, that wasn't a long time ago...

The only thing that occurs to me right now, given your argumentation, is that you unbanned him because you can!

all the non-proof bans Pit have made while back were removed by Pit himself. cause the community bitched about.

How about when the chased Kari and even me over and over again cause he's is a fucking noob who has 100000 hours on hospital and he can't not even play it properly...

Yahoo, there are many grey areas. Pit isn't black and white. Let's take a look at iBad. He recently posted a ban appeal on here. Now, we caught him with a custom private script that basically shoots for him (he doesn't have to click as much). He gave us the file, gave us the source and said it was never released and all the evidence is there to make that believable. Now, he wasn't using a no fog hack or radar or anything that serious but he was still caught. Does he deserve to be banned forever? Look at all the people that bought paid hacks just to cheat, they got caught and they know they did wrong and they don't bother coming here for an appeal. Where do you draw the line on the tolerance policy? If it were up to me, the game would be so locked down and anyone that touched brightness would be permanently banned. We have to weigh each case and the decisions aren't always easy.

We are talking about Pit, a guy who did ban players on false assumptions, a guy who chased players who he thought they were cheating, a guy who toke advantage of assist code to bypass the anti-cheat system etc etc, like i said before that makes you all a bunch of hypocrites, i'm even surprise Jonny agreed with that, he proved to be a pretty wise guy.

Anyway it's your decision live with that, but you have no right to ask people to "forgive him" or let him play like he is/was a regular guy.

What's the point of having a zero tolerance policy if we're not going to support it? We look like hypocrites.
