lol, that's literally the first thing I tried. Editor crashes on map change.
I think you're just trying to get me to install the editor again :)

Try to copy them from mAAp Pipeline.

The emitter isn't really the problem. I never even attempted that. I can't export the textures for the water in the fountain it dumps into without the editor crashing.

Don't export. Are they part of MyLevel? If so, just open SpankyVille and then open Monkey Island, they'll be available for use.

Yo spanky, I wanted to use your fountain from Spankyville (it's awesome) but I cannot find a way to do so that doesn't crash the editor. Even simply trying to export the custom textures crashes the editor...

Haha, yea, that thing pisses me off to no end. If you look at mAAp Pipeline, I ripped it for the north side broken pipe on the outside of the building.

I think Blueblaster made it with the Particle Editor which makes it impossible to copy-paste (thanks Epic). I think what I did was copy both emitters into Notepad and then create new emitters from scratch in the new map and just copied the variables over such as size, spawn rate, texture and all that. Tedious but I too thought it was good enough to steal :)

Ganja, it wouldn't be a problem if your pineapple of a computer could run MS-DOS and not shit itself.

I actually kinda like the grass. It is definitely too tall though, but I'm not exactly familiar with the way you implemented it. I realize it's through the terrain decorations, but is there any way to scale back the mesh?

If you want to make some better grass for the map (preferably tall enough to cover while prone) that would be awesome. :P
You can do it. I have confidence in you. It's a decolayer (there's probably 2 at least, 1 for the trees which should be deleted as I think you can walk through them... or did I already delete them?).

Just select it, do the usual F4, TerrainInfo, DecoLayer and choose (0) or (1) and there's scale options in there:

A lot of the options are self-explanatory. What you want is ScaleMultiplier. Have fun :)

I'm probably going to rework the entire map, new objectives and everything. Terrain will stay the same though as I suck at dealing with terrain. :P

At least delete the grass. That stuff is so shitty. I think that was the first grass I ever made. It was like shoulder-height.

look also if you can to the line in the sky

I've tried to fix that oodles of times. It's a problem with the skybox which makes it very pretty but adds crap like that. The sky is the inside of a box that's painted with images. You can see the same thing on mAAp Pipeline but just barely as I used some fog to cover it up.

What is freezing exactly? When does it freeze? Have you tried a Reset + Repair in the settings?

It boils down you, as antiarmycheat touches on, we're the sole reason to that the game is dying, we're ( i hate saying we're here) playing 3 maps, urban, hospital and pipeline. Imagine coming as a  new player into this game and having to choose between 3 maps where the players on there know every pixel on the map. Broaden your view people, stop playing the game like fragwhores, camping, leaning and zooming until time runs out, and serveradmins set your server to diffrent maps, people will join if they see a clanserver with it's own clan on it. Or continue playing the 3 maps and sit back, watch the game die. Good fucking job retards.

As stunned as I am to say it, I whole-heartedly agree with you 100%.

I stopped playing AA long ago because while I had TONS of enjoyable hours on it, it just got boring. Static maps & fragwhores make the game incredibly boring beyond 10-15 minutes. Coming at this from my background, I believe maps could make the game better. It's tough though. I believe AA2 should be preserved as we all remember it but at the same time, preserving it will keep it as a novelty of a memory. Maybe that's why so many new accounts become activated but never hang around long.

I would love to see maps overhauled and players forced to learn new tactics. New features added to maps such as random spawns, random objectives and pushing the engine as far as we can. The only thing standing in the way is the tsunami of rage from fragwhores and die-hard old schoolers. It doesn't mean we have to remove Pipeline & Bridge, just change things so that whoring is harder and there's a more level playing field for newbies.

That's just my 2 cents.

Be wary of the multitude of cameras in Internet Cafe's. That's all I can say.

And why can't they at least TELL us why....or when/if they expect/hope it to be back up.......? Just a "doing maintenance may take 5 hours or more"

Planned downtime is always announced. But, shit happens.

I've tried already my native res, and it's not cool :/

You're going to have to adapt some time. Games aren't played at 800x600 or 1024x768 anymore.

It will change the FOV angles but it shouldn't be enough to cause fuss over. It really only becomes a problem when you're doing multiple monitors.

Have you actually tried running your native resolution in-game?

There is no resolution that is square as you say, just varying widescreens. The only thing I could think of with bars would be some kind of BIOS or GPU driver control panel setting that doesn't stretch non-native resolutions. For example, 800x600 wouldn't be stretched to fit your 1366x768 screen, it would simply put a 800x600 box inside your screen and fill the rest in with black. Look for something that mentions resolutions and stretching in your control panel.
