Lets remember its a game, and people shouldn't take what people say so serious in game, though i dislike dav3 for immature behavior in game no reason for a ban from assist , that's upon the server owner
The guy has been harassing players for a while now. Someone needs to put a stop to it. He's already been temp banned, and yet he still continues.

There's a major difference between insults (which is protected by freedom of speech) and harassment (which is not). That's how it works in the real world, that's how it should work here. Harassment should not be tolerated.

I remember from a long time ago som Dev once told us in tracker that the wwr bug was no bug, it hapens because if you draw a line of vision from wwr to escort B, wwr is slighty highter that escort b, wich makes that lack of sight of the player, but every body cryed about it.
That might actually make sense and would mean that's a game code problem rather than a map problem.

Killa based on what you said, could it be possible to rebuild that building from scratch, and see if it still happens?
Yeah it would be possible, but depending on how the building is set-up it might be fairly difficult to recreate it exactly. I doubt anyone would put the time into doing it. I don't have the editor anymore or I would check it out.

They're not easy to fix without adding something else, like a railing. There is no logical explanation for the bugs in the map, it's just unrealEd.

I know that doesn't sound like a good reason, but if you have ever worked with the Unreal Editor you would know exactly what I mean. Stuff just happens for no reason all the damn time.

For example, you guys know that invisible wall on Collapsed Tunnel in one of the spawns? Where you have to crouch to get under it? Spanky and I spent hours tearing that map apart trying to figure out what the hell was causing it and came up with nothing. It's just Unreal.
The same goes for west wing roof on hospital. There is no physical reason for the glitch to occur, it's just Unreal.

Spanky already fixed the west wing roof glitch by adding a railing, but everyone got pissed so we had to revert it back. As for the pillar glitch, I have no idea what that is. Care to explain?

That would be cool to look over. Don't worry, it's not actually for an assignment, I just want to start with GUI sooner rather than later.

Most people I know use VS, but why C++? You make a windows app?
It's C++ because that's what The University of Michigan teaches first in their CIS program. That's what I have to use. I use VS for coding but it seems that a lot of people suggest external stuff like Qt for creating a GUI within VS. I'm just not really sure what the best option is.

anyone know anything about creating GUIs for c++ programs? I'm looking to create a simple GUI for a simple tic-tac-toe game. The program itself is easy, but I've never made a GUI before. I'm not sure where to start. There are so many options. I was looking into using Qt or GTK, but I also heard Visual Studio also has something for GUIs. What's the best option?

My idear is that it makes a to good team a little more difficult to win the game .
I realize why you want it done, but I'm not going to change it for two reasons. The first being that I no longer have the editor. The second being that I really don't want to change it anyways. Thanks for the suggestion though. I wish we got more suggestions from the community when it comes to mAAp maps.

Ah I understand what you want now, but I disagree. The entire reason the main CP is the only thing required to win is that it's fairly difficult to get safely. The room has a ton of windows and multiple entrances. Not to mention you need to breach the doors. It would technically be easier to take both the cafe and park while the other team rushed the main CP, but nobody does that. I don't think making the teams get main CP AND another obj would be good.

I'm not exactly sure what you're saying.
How it's set up right now is that you need the park and the cafe captured to win. OR you need to capture the main CP, which is more difficult. It's like Pipeline except it has 1 less objective.

I can't really help that players only want to do the main CP objective, the other option is there and it's not that difficult to do.

I might try to make something, but it will most likely be bad. It would be a good excuse to load up photoshop though, I haven't used it in a long time.
