That stuff has half-lives of thousands of years and we've only been doing nuclear stuff for what, 50-70 years? We can't "dispose" of it, we can only manage it and moderate it.That's why I said "if." There has been many cases where it isn't disposed of properly. By dispose I i'm not talking about getting rid of it completely, but properly containing it to where it cannot harm anyone.
All energy sucks. Coal and gas cause air pollution, nuclear will kill us all from the inside out, solar is inefficient and made in foreign markets, wind kills bird habitats, dams require tons of maintenance. Geothermal's aright but it's crazy expensive.
We're all gonna die.
But yeah, it's sad how almost every way to create energy harms something.

Just like there is a possibility of getting shot in the face walking down the road on any given day. The only difference is that nuclear disasters are MUCH less common.
Not to mention possibility of nuclear disaster.
Nuclear energy is very safe when handled by the right people. Chernobyl was a flawed design being worked on by unqualified people. That's why it happened. The thing about nuclear energy is if the waste is disposed of properly, it's very clean and causes very little pollution for how much energy you can get out of it.

Dream Theater isn't for those hyperactive kids with nonexistent attention spans. Even their more mainstream songs are like 6 minutes or longer.

I'm not sure why the snow would make you dizzy. That seems odd.
However, the overall reception of the 2 Holiday maps (IC and Hospital) has been overwhelmingly positive so suck it up. People like them.

Lower your resolution too.
His processor should rip apart AA. A fucking Pentium 4 can max out AA.
His laptop should run AA like a dream, and his FPS proves it. He is just dealing with random freezes. Telling him to lower settings isn't going to help anything.
My advice, look for driver updates. Test the game with vsync off. Not sure what else to do. Maybe it's your internet connection?

« on: Thursday, December 19, 2013, 14:45:02 PM »Intel GPU is a problem, you'll get low FPS. Your second problem is that you're playing games on a laptop.Intel HD 4000 is more than capable of playing AA. Heat could be an issue though.
I'd bet your problem is heat, incredibly common in laptops and nobody thinks about it. Download HWMonitor, run it and then play the game. After a while, take a screenshot of HWMonitor and post it here.
