« on: Monday, January 13, 2014, 11:29:26 AM »I have plenty of space (800gb) and i already tried to reset + repair AA and complete Re-install but it just doesn't work. Re-install goes fine but after that when it tries to download those AA3 maps/files it just stops.
When i try to join AA3 server error message is:
Connection failed
downloading "aa3_map" not allowed
We use Sourceforge.org to host the files, it might be that your location uses a mirror that sometimes has issues:

I know the functionality no longer exists on the admin side of things. Maybe it wasn't removed on the client? There is still the ability to upload things like screenshots taken within Assist, perhaps that's what you're seeing?
It's inaccurate to say we can read, modify or upload any files on the system we choose. We simply can't do that.
Yup, that part has been stripped out since a few versions.

If you use the Assist Server Manager, you have to press exactly 2 buttons to have a server up and running

I just read the terms of service for AA assist. I'm pretty sure if the admins enforced the terms there would be zero players left to play the game

lol, thanks Brahva. xD I'm talking about the 'Simon Says' server. This was the damage incorporated server, which has been renames to include my real name. I know it's the damage incorporated server with a new name as it is the same IP address. I remember Joe did the same thing to Carmy about two years ago, the server was removed and that was the start of Joe's 6 month ban. The same thing happened to Bumpy, again, the server was removed right away. Now it's my turn, it has now been two days since my real name was used as a server name and it's still online. No replies from any of my messages from the Assist admins, so I can only assume this is favouritism of some kind, siding with the person who changed the name in order to go against me. I might be wrong, but from my point of view, I doubt it.
