The problem in Dedicated Denial of Service attack for the victims is that they most likely will never get evidence who really is behind the attacks. Logs are full of IP's showing only that there is someone attacking but they for example fake IP's or jacked devices delivering the attack.

Then again there are more than one way to attack so blocking the attacks is hard, nearly impossible.

You mentioned me in your first post, just to let you know I have tried to open eyes of this community for this shit for months already - otherwise I'm not the one dealing with issue, just writing down what I see and what you should see as well.
Distributed Denial of Service* 1

Pipez0r explained it a lot better than you, I'm afraid.

It was PC link, i could have activated but auth was down anyway, i wanted to do it later when the situation were stable, that why i just left it there to be rejected or activated later, add the fact that ppl wantit tobe done their way and when they want, thats not how it works.
The only reason I really looked into it was because EUK was taking a long time and I had nothing beter to do ... :D
But funnily enough the web services were up during most of the struggles. But you're right, he didn't loose any time.

That's actually what happens in the AAO25 main offices. I wonder who leaked this footage...
It's only because the main offices are not in use anymore. You know damn well we like to do most of our work in the off shore offices in the Bahamas.

It was a false positive - the IPs were from different states in Germany and also from different ISPs.

Activated.

Now to get auth running properly.

BT Username: Fragezeichen
Both uses same computer.
Someone will have to recheck that - the IPs are not a match so it might be a false positive. Difficult for me to check on this tablet, but I might give it a go.

Nah, no one drinked too much vodka and beer last night and puked all over the bed. Certainly not Me.
Where I was, nobody drank any vodka, just a couple of beers during the nice weather :)
Friday evening was a different story, though ... :D

I agree that a big part of the active community is quite horrible. A lot of server admins get cocky, make their own rules that apply to others but not to themselves, kick and ban at their will for next to nothing and so on.
However, it is still their server and there is not much that can be done on Assist's side.

As for number of servers per clan - I think I've talked about it in the past - but it's extremely difficult (if not impossible) to control these numbers. Not all servers are clan servers. Some people have their own personal servers as well. If we made a rule that only 2 or 3 servers per clan were allowed, we might see that each member of that clan then has their own personal server.

How did you guys acquire the auth system? Could you not somehow get the rights to distribute seeing as how they dropped support and the franchise is dead?
There was no "acquiring", it was just taken over by Assist+Battletracker because the official support was dropped. It's all unofficial. There has been some communication with some original developers where they said that what we're doing is technically illegal, but since we're not doing anything crazy to the game, they'd leave it be.

I don't think there's any way to get the official right to the game. We're talking about the US Army after all...

Can you further explain the prone bug? How exactly is the hitbox "messed up"? Isn't the whole point of being prone to be harder to hit and or see?. I played this game since v1.0 and in my 10+ years I never really had a problem killing people who were prone, nor did they ever seem to have any trouble killing me...

It's not about the prone position, but rather the transition from standing to prone when the hitboxes are messed up. That's what I was referring to. I now realize it was not clear in the post, though. One was able to shoot while going prone from standing and then be extremely difficult to hit as well.

On top of our macro detection, you had quite a few processes, whose name starts with "Macro 2 ARMS FREE 60% pre", I somehow doubt you didn't know you were running them.

In any case, you'll be able to create a new account in a week.

Hey, that's nice...there are a couple mistakes in that review but nothing terrible either.
Yeah.
For instance, I don't know why he thought the game was slowed down in later versions. It was in fact sped up and some of these changes are in 25Assist right now as well.

But all in all a nice video. With only a 1000 views, I don't think it had/is going to have a significant impact, though.
