General Chat / Can't log in (Timeout waiting for reply...)

Hello all,
So I have recently decided to try out the old AA once again, but unfortunately I cannot log in. This is the message that i get:
As you can see on the bottom right corner of the picture, my antivirus and firewall are turned off.
Also, my username from battletracker is without special characters. (these are the two solutions offered here: http://aao25.com/2-5-assist/error-timeout-cant-login/).
I have also tried creating a new account on battetracker and I still got the same error message.
Help? anyone?
