HI this is still happening and im getting more of these boxes appear and now when they do the game freezes for a second while the error box is produced/ displayed 1 Its getting annoying . Anyone else having the problem?

I havnt been able to play much of late and my gaming is during early evening and not late Uk time as I like to sleep for another days work!
That aside I cant really see what the issue is apart from the continued baiting and insult throwing on the Shoutbox . Its a very small minority but surely they can be removed from the Box and then the servers by Admin , Maybe just ignore them or have Admin programe a block function into the game chat that allows players to block words communicated by selected others from a list > Cant be too hard to do?
Anyway peace and Love And PIPELINE is the Only Map to PLay on Heartbreak Ridge , No map changes , No whining , It is what is is .

A Bit Rash My old friend , Just keep your serever running on what YOU prefer . Thats it . There are plenty of others . I find my server runs well on Pipe players know what they get . If they get fed up they leave . I cant change the world just run it how I prefer . Peace .

I seem to recall seeing a few servers running it and perhaps even playing it here and there over the years but I can't say for certain. I'm also not sure if there is a difference between the mod and 2.8.5, but figured I'd throw that out there.
Shotguns are available in the Pool Day map.

« on: Monday, May 13, 2024, 04:31:43 AM »I haven't worked on the tracker in some time due to needing a break but in response to this incident a few ideas popped into my mind to ease myself back into some work before I begin tackling some overdue plans.
I feel like this sort of thing is relatively uncommon, but on the odd chance suspicion arises in the future I've added a few tools that will hopefully help spot this sort of thing (at least to the point it can be brought to a Assist administrators attention for a proper investigation).
Searching for a name will now consider previous display names. The current name will be displayed along with an asterisk which when hovered will display a tooltip with the matching alias.
If a players name history is longer than 10 names, you'll be able to load the entire (tracked) history in increments of 10.
Finally, you're able to filter match history by matches played with another player. In this example, matches with both myself and Mr_Gunman-GB are being displayed rather than just my personal match history.

All well and good . I guess you can all pat yourselves on the back although when I made this video and it was posted and suggested he was cheating I was pretty met with a Brick wall from most people keen to say he was clean and his game play suggested nothing untoward he was a Pro ( Whatever that really means( Won tournaments etc etc etc LoL !
He clearly was tracking people across maps and scoring highly on a regular basis with very little deaths . A few other players supported my feelings and thankfully Bart has investigated more deeply and my feelings were proven to be correct rather than being labelled a continuous Cheat caller . Cheers

« on: Monday, May 06, 2024, 04:07:55 AM »I'll just reiterate what teddy said. It'd be either killing people from spawn, or inhumane snapping to targets. Outside of that, it's incredibly difficult to tell between the best players and cheaters. The sad reality is that this game is over 20 years old on a 3 generation old Unreal Engine. It's not like cheat detection for Unreal 2 is still ongoing.
The biggest cheat deterrent this game has is the fact that committing resources to cheating in such an old game doesn't really make much sense. There's no clout in it.

I just read the terms of service for AA assist. I'm pretty sure if the admins enforced the terms there would be zero players left to play the game

lol, thanks Brahva. xD I'm talking about the 'Simon Says' server. This was the damage incorporated server, which has been renames to include my real name. I know it's the damage incorporated server with a new name as it is the same IP address. I remember Joe did the same thing to Carmy about two years ago, the server was removed and that was the start of Joe's 6 month ban. The same thing happened to Bumpy, again, the server was removed right away. Now it's my turn, it has now been two days since my real name was used as a server name and it's still online. No replies from any of my messages from the Assist admins, so I can only assume this is favouritism of some kind, siding with the person who changed the name in order to go against me. I might be wrong, but from my point of view, I doubt it.
