Stupid eBay People...
« on: Wednesday, May 23, 2012, 19:43:54 PM »
This guy paid $36 for an old Dell laptop (Pentium 4 era) with a broken screen and then starts complaining about it. Read from the bottom up:

Dear matthewmpasteris,

Haha "guess", I think you mean "guest". It doesn't sound like you're old enough to have an eBay account. That or the education system failed you. Again, I can't remove every single hair from a bag, especially for a $36 item. It was a bonus if you look at the listing again; "comes with a carrying bag". Despite what you think, I shook the bag and tried to get the bulk of the dog hair off of it. Hair happens when you have a dog, especially this time of year when they are shedding. If you don't like the bag, that's fine. You paid for the laptop, that's what the listing was for. The screws are a valid complaint (albeit a small one) so I'm sorry that I didn't look over every square inch of the laptop for missing screws. I kinda thought that since the screen was broken that minute details such as screws, scuffs and rubber feet didn't matter because whoever buys this laptop is going to use it for parts. If I had spare screws, I would be happy to send you some but guess what, I didn't steal them out of the laptop to keep them for myself despite what you think.

Dear natenkiki2004,

be my guess to leave negative feedback but the inside was coated in hair and the bag was not nessecary to send especially when there was so much hair on it u could have bult a dam dog out the stuff You dont do business that way buy sending items that were of a dirty matter. and then try to be cute about it and say it was a bonus.

Dear matthewmpasteris,

"dont u ever send someone something full of your hair ever again" That's pretty bold of you to tell an established seller how to do business. It's not like I packed it full of hair just for you, it was the laptop bag and it's impossible to get every single hair out, you would know that if you've ever had a dog. It was a free bonus with the laptop, like it or don't. I was selling these laptops for somebody else. I don't know what screws it came with originally and I didn't disassemble the laptop to make sure every single screw was included. I described and photographed the laptop the best I could. When you bid, you knew the laptop needed repair. You got what you paid for in a prompt manner right? Interesting that you would still decide to send a poorly written e-mail and leave negative feedback. It's ok though, I'll leave some negative feedback for you as well.

Haha, amazing - you have probably destroyed one life by forgetting to check the precious screws. Maybe we all could donate some to him...

Seriously. If I was him, I would be a little more concerned about the fact that the LCD screen is cracked.
