I'm actually just starting to acquire parts for a '93 RX-7 that I'm re-building from ground up.

Speaking of Rx-7's ...

Don't have pics of my normal driving car, but I got my fun car.

1981 Mazda rx-7. Costs 14 dollars for registration lol.

Lovely car. The engine is even more interesting (it has a Wankel engine). How often does engine oil needs to be replaced?

Those are cool engines, I've always been mesmerized by them, never knew they were in production vehicles.

I don't drive it very often. Oil gets changed maybe 2 - 3 times year? Rotary engine ftw.

Yep. Actually they are, in my opinion, the best motors made.

Fuck yea. If you take care of them, those motors last for fucking ever. Seals go bad after about 80K miles, but that's normal.

Jesus, how often do you get a new truck? Or do you just fix em up as projects and re-sell or donate to other volunteer firefighters?

I work for em and I keep em. I buy what people call "junk" and fix it up. This truck is a decent project putting a flat bed with a 5th wheel on it.

I'd love to have a farm truck project. Someone's "junk" like you said and just invest some time to have a reliable vehicle. Lotta satisfaction in something like that. Keep us informed :)
