Yeah I'm on a pretty tight budget. Once I can afford lighting I will.

New lenses! I got a 20mm f/2.8 and a 70-200mm F/4.0L.

70-200mm f/4L

70-200mm f/4L

20mm f/2.8

20mm f/2.8

Primes are so much fun.

I like your photos. Good use of the depth of field. You've got some awesome lenses.

Thanks :) I can't recommend this Canon 20mm f/2.8 enough, for the price its probably one of the best wide angles out there.

Honestly, I only really like the hydrant one. It's nicely detailed and is almost an optical illusion. The others are bland except for the first which seems to have color issues. I realize it's bronze and probably copper but even so, the colors just seem off. The last one is alright.

Might look bigger, but it aint.....

I like 1 & 3, but whats giving me issues, is that the object of matter is dead center, use the rule of thirds when doing composition.

If you don't know what that is look here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_thirds

I haven't updated this thread in awhile so I thought I would put up a set I did about a month ago at the Calabazas bike park in San Jose.

If you had a fish-eye on those, it would look epic.

I honestly hate sports photography with a fish-eye. Its been done to death. Fish-eye's are really just a gimmick, while they can be used to make some amazing shots I'm sick of seeing sports photography done with them.
