Inside My White Van Speakers

I was bored, so I took out the woofer. Have a look inside. Also it seems the woofer was made in ireland.....

I've been thinking and trying hard to come up with something nice to say about those speakers. I guess... they look better built than my barn ones. I don't even know if it's worth the time to put effort or money into those to try and improve them.
It's like shaving your pubes to make your junk look bigger.
Might look bigger, but it aint.....

This is why they're from white vans, and also why I got them for free.

I've been thinking of making my own cabinets for fun because I can clearly make something better than these :D

Yea, those look like super thin MDF/fiberboard. I was reading the other day about how quality speakers were made in the 50's and 60's with 12-ply marine grade plywood. Talk about heavy. I would look and see if there's a good speaker kit you can get that matches the sizes of the drivers you have in those so you could build a cabinet, pop the drivers from your white vans' in there and when you get the $$ pick up a kit or the parts for a total system.
