Skrewy, we all know your computer is probably no more than 50% under load at any given time. It's not so much the hardware as anybody can buy any part and put it together, it's how you use it :)

Knight may have a 4GHz clock and DDR3 1600 but noboby here can touch my rapesauce 2.838GHz northbridge which increases speeds everywhere :) Not to mention that I use probably only 60% of my CPU at 3.87GHz and most of the time it hangs around at 1.03GHz with 1.296 volts which means that it's typically under 30c, even now during summer, which is very healthy. As my clocks have shown, I prefer memory bandwidth and this has been 100% stable ever since I set it up and I know that's been at least 4 months. To each their own though.

Oh, and Skrewy, 8 gig isn't 8 gig. My 1720MHz 8-10-8-24-33-1T spanks the crap out of your 1333MHz 9-9-9-24 (and probably 2T). It's ok though, getting anything more than 1333MHz is usually pointless unless you overclock your northbridge.

And no one can touch my state of the art Pentium Dual-Core and the brand new, top of the line 8800GTX I have. Not to mention my awesome 4GB of ram that came with my Dell that I still have no idea who manufactured it. :P

That 8800GTX would have raped the last two graphics cards I had, the first of which (7300GS) I sadly played Crysis on...

First 2 components would not be an upgrade, just a waste of money. You would literally notice no difference (just had a thought, hopefully mans checked your motherboard's phase power so it will support the 1090t, 4+1 will "work" but has a probability of frying in the long run). For the 3rd link, that's probably a side-grade or down-grade. I'm not sure, I don't really keep up with the new cards until I have money to spend on them.

You did do something positive in your post. I've been noticing huge FPS drops in BC2. Just randomly started. I figure it's either Nvidia drivers or one of the recent Steam updates. Or... the fact that I'm using a 2+ year old graphics card on modern games...
