Anyone care to speculate on why there are so many european players and not very many U.S players, This is 'AMERICAS' army not europes army, i don't understand why there are not more americans?

Imho, the most important servers, the ones getting full each evening on a daily basis, are European ones. It wasn't the same in the past, as 2 of the most lively ones on 2.8.5 in late 2011 were the infamous CGS respawn servers. If you're an American player and you happen to be willing to play in a server placed around your area you have less choices in both servers and maps regards.

Anyway i think that even back in 2.8.5 there was a lack of american players in comparison to the amount of European ones (not as now tho).

i been happy, seems like theres more US players than there was a month ago....

but would be badass to get even more US players
You gotta have a nuclear soul
To melt down all your sorrowful load
And you gotta have a mercury soul
To weigh down any glimmer of gold

I dont see that as the reason considering several european countries are richer than the US...

. I think that is just how it happened. There doesn't have to be some underlying cause. Simply more Europeans like AA.

yeah but its expensive for people outside the us to buy computer parts

Nothing is expensive if you know where to look for. I don't really think it's a matter of money, or pc parts. On the other hand i don't really know if European countries are richer than US, maybe you should come and take a look at the italian way of developing a sub-standard democracy with corruption from top to bottom.

This.

Oh darn i'll have to get a new custom pc built then...where should i look :P :P :P

lots of older games are "run by Europe",
like Postal 2 Share the Pain, Soldner, Operation Flashpoint, GTA Vice City MP, True Combat Elite...

This is what I think too.

To get better view on this we should get stats from same kind of games like Battlefield, Call of Duty, CS etc. How many US players are playing those games. I have never known many US players in AA or at least I don't remember them.

I don't think computer component prices have anything to do with AA. Some people just don't find it as interesting as this community.

Yea, you're right. And from this comes to my mind the difference between the US films and European ones, there's a huge difference. Maybe US players are used to/ want more eye candy...
